Arabella's POV “Challenge accepted!” Moana’s perfectly arched brows shot up, her painted lips curling into a smug smirk. Before I could even process her words, she lunged at me, her freshly manicured nails extended like claws. The speed of her attack caught me off guard, and I barely managed to dodge. I felt the sharp sting as her nails grazed my neck. “Did you just try to scratch me?” I yelped, my fingers instinctively touching the spot. I could feel the faint sting where she’d left her mark. “What are you, a sly little kitten?”

As I walked, I heard people arguing, but I ignored it—until I got close. I froze in shock. “Babe, please? Come back to me. Let’s start over. Let’s talk about this,” Enzo was pleading. My chest tightened for reasons I didn’t understand. I was even more shocked when Moana splashed him with water from her mineral bottle. “Cool off! Maybe that’ll wake you up! We’re done!” she shouted and stormed off to her car.

Mona nodded, “yeah, in another life. But I’ll talk to you later okay, Clara? Just going to see one of my packmembers.” Mona quickly left. Fuck, even her back looked gorgeous. I noticed the symbols on her back had fully healed by now. Clara was clueless to the whole fucking thing and started telling me all about how she and Mona got ready together and how pretty Mona looked and friendly she was. Moana’s POV The sea has always been my lullaby. I was born to its rhythm, raised on its tides. Our island is small, just a cluster of wooden huts gathered along the shore, with the jungle behind us and the horizon stretching wide in front. To outsiders, it might seem too quiet, too simple. But for us, it is everything. I’m eighteen now, and that means one thing, I’ll be married. That thought has followed me like a shadow these past months, filling my heart with both excitement and a kind of nervous flutter I can’t name.

The tail, long and scaled in deep obsidian tipped with glimmering teal, arched behind her like a crown born of the sea itself. She swam toward him, her movement both predatory and heartbreakingly fragile. Humphrey trembled, not from fear but from the overwhelming truth of her,his mate, his moon, his siren. Her hand, webbed faintly now with translucent fins, rose hesitantly, brushing over his cheek. The warmth of her palm burned against his skin even though her body carried the coolness of the water. He leaned into it without hesitation, his eyes closing, a ragged exhale breaking free.

In the next moment, he tossed her down. "Ah…" Moana collapsed to the floor, her forehead colliding with the edge of the bed. She touched her brow and looked down at her hand, only to find blood on her fingers. Blaze became even more insane when he smelled blood. He sniffed the air and approached Moana. His lips quirked into a devilish grin as he watched the blood trickle down her forehead. In a flash, he grabbed her throat and licked the blood. Moana was so scared that she couldn’t call for help. She didn't dare move a muscle, terrified that Blaze would kill her at any moment.

Now is the time to be the person you really are. Princess Charlotte returned her gaze to the heap of stones. She leaned out and touched the stone with her hand. Her stone would end up here one day.
