When Best Friends Kiss
she instructed Leslie.
“Like this?” Leslie said, and I felt her lean close to me, her face around my neck.
“Almost perfect. A little closer,” she said.
And then Leslie pulled my head closer to hers and from nowhere, she kissed me.
I snapped out of it almost immediately, even as the cameras flashed in my eyes, and I pushed her away.
“What the hell, Leslie,” I snapped at her and pushed her back.
She staggered and groaned.
“Stop whining, Todd,” her mother said as she walked over to where the photographers were and bent over. Next thing, she snapped her fingers at her daughter. “Great job, baby. We got a perfect shot.”
