We watched how Mellon enchanted a spell that ate the three-headed monster back into their world before everything whooshed back to the normal set of the second floor. "Thank you," I uttered. Pivoting in his grace, Mellon's eyes are weaker than the last time I saw him. "Are you okay?" I asked, but before he could say a word, a body fell beside my feet.

The monster looks thoughtfully for a very long time before it nods. “Okay Ma Vista, I will believe you for now, but if this proves to be false I will kill him. I will wait to see if a new Ma Vista is born until I decide how I should end him.” My father just smiles sadly and hangs his head. The two monsters separated and then ducked between cages. Murry angled his head up as a new creature stepped over him.
