Thorny vines shot out of the woods and wrapped themselves around one of the monsters, trapping it but it wouldn't hold for long. The other two ran towards me with a speed I hadn't expected from monsters their size. Blasting them with my water magic didn't deter them, instead, it angered them further. They had almost gotten to me when the mist popped out six huge monsters, five of which immediately went into action. The winged monster didn't, instead, it trotted to me and nuzzled my cheek, making me smile. The Egran, which I had decided to name my monsters, fought with Karissa's scorpion-wolves with such speed that stunned the scorpion-wolves themselves at first.

He rasped out pointing at her heart. A cracked sob left her throat as she tried to push him. "I don't love you." She said making him chuckle. "I and you we both know you do." She shook her head. "I DON'T LOVE A MONSTER!" Reynold's eyes darkened hearing her. He took a handful of her hair jerking her head near his. "Monster huh! Let me show you what being a real monster is." With that, he dragged her inside the basement throwing her in front of the little guy.

He turned back and quickly banged the door behind him with a very loud sound . * * Gbooooom ! * * and then went back to where he was sitting . Bryan looked at him, and noticed it was Mira at the door, because, he could only do that to her after what happened initially . Mira was shocked at the loud bang of the door,, but she still did not give up, she then said ... "Please babe... let's talk and trash this thing ones and for all ... come open and let me in please ... you know I truly love you, right ... ? "

Jackson grinned sheepishly and shrugged. “It was luck. When I first got you, Kia found a website from a group that was trying to help wolves who were involved in the fights. We emailed a couple times back and forth before I mentioned who I was looking for. They were a little protective, especially since they were emailing a Carmillan, but once I fully explained… well. Here we are.” Wren couldn’t look away from the dusting of pink on his cheeks. Never, in all of his time, did he expect to find someone as amazing as Jackson. He looked away when his mom cleared her throat. She was smiling at him with an understanding look in her eyes.

Even wrapped in the blankets of my dorm bed, I could feel the burning echo of that moment. But when sleep finally claimed me, it was not the monster I had imagined. It was him. I didn’t know his name. I couldn’t make out his face very well, only glimpses — storm-grey eyes that blazed with lightning fire, the cool pressure of a mouth that grazed against mine with reverence and desire, rough and warm hands that curled around my waist and drew me into him.

A thick, suffocating silence. No growls. No snarls. I slowly looked up… and gasped. The monster was gone. Alpha Damion stood before me, sweat glistening on his brow, chest rising and falling in uneven breaths. His face was stoic. Cold again. But his words? His words shattered me. “Our love,” he murmured, “is going to be the end of me.”

Chuckling he took my fingers in his hand and started to move it against the cards randomly, closing his eyes and chanting something between his lips. "Seriously, I will pick one, please not this bullcrap," I pull my fingers away and randomly pick a card and place it in his hands. "Ha!" I shrieked when his voice beamed around us. Lowering the card away from his face he turned the card towards. I narrowed my eyes on the card. "Beast, " His voice bellowed behind him as I was met with a black coloured card, a serene moon shining down the lake and a majestic wolf standing by the lake looking upon the moon.

He began to move towards me, his face an inscrutable mask that offered no clues about his intentions. I hugged myself tightly, clutching at the thin fabric of my nightdress as my tears resumed their relentless descent. With nowhere to run or hide, I had no choice but to remain rooted to the spot, allowing him to metaphorically corner me. He stopped just a few feet away, his towering figure effectively caging me in. "In my experience, only monsters can truly love other monsters" he stated, his tone a curious mix of amusement and revulsion "Your husband is a monster, so that leads me to wonder... what does that make you? Feel free to convince me otherwise, if you ever find your voice again"

Aracely cried "can't you see? I don't deserve this? everything I touch, everything I love, it burns and turns to ashes, it's reduced, broken shattered, why would you try and save a monster like me" "You are not a monster!" Adrian whispered painfully, He did not love a monster, he loved that girl who bounced back no matter what, that cheerful, kind, sarcastic, and fun-loving person. but right now, he was desperately searching for a sign of her, and all he saw when he stared into ceramide's eyes was a stranger.
