Outside the castle Humanes from afar felt both sultry and frosty, wondering what was going on. Wren fired bubbles from both palms as she twisted around Randall. Which was fitting, considering who I was about to meet. Randall opened the door before I even knocked twice. His smile stretched across his face like a blade, polished and lethal. His eyes devoured me, and when I shrugged off the coat, sliding off the disguise piece by piece, he let out a low whistle. “Goddamn,” he murmured, his voice thick with that performative hunger old men use to remind you they still have teeth. “I almost forgot how sinful you look stripped down. Even pissed off, you’re mouthwatering.”

Her voice died down as Helia gulped down the content of the tiny bottle. She sighed as she heard the sound of glass smashed on the floor again. I yelled and finally got to move my fingers. I opened my eyes and despite the pain in my head, I forced myself to stand. I shifted and roared. That was how I broke free from the trance. My wolf was bleeding just like me. I saw the light and found myself back inside the hall with wolves still fighting against the vampires. Randall was standing in front of me. He was severely injured. Seething with fury, I jumped at him and sank my teeth in his throat. And then I saw Blade. He was bleeding, too. He stood beside me and struck Randall’s heart with the same dagger which my mom used against him… that is, if the images I saw were true.

The lack of movement caused me to look up into his eyes. He seemed to be frozen in place until we both vibrated from the growl coming from Lex. I snapped my mouth closed and stayed with my back to Lex. “Let’s go, now.” Lex said before stripping and shifting. Randolph glanced back at me one more time before I turned around. His eyes were burning red and the pupil inside changed its colour to golden. Only his eyes are so scary that once if someone saw it, the person will get nightmare for whole month. Monk moved towards a big mirror and saw himself in that, then he started removing his shirt. The moment he removed his shirt, in the mirror a face appeared that was attached with his tummy.
