Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

She was probably angry that I didn't want to leave minutes before; her grip around my mouth was too tight. You know who was screaming, though? Tia Valeria. The rest of her House was screaming and crying and most likely knew that they were going to suffer a similar fate. 'Monsters' was the only word I knew to think of them as, given I had never seen or heard of anything like them. The way that man contorted his body was horror. Pure horror. And so, it was only fitting to describe these humanoid beings with bright eyes and superhuman abilities as monsters.

The Monster's Nemesis

The Monster's Nemesis

“Why do you like this so much? Why do you have to rile me up to the point I must hurt you?” “You are a fucking monster,” I hissed through the sensations. It was as if my body was wildfire. The harder Dominic slammed, the tighter my pussy clammed his length. “Oh, baby, you are trying too hard to convince yourself of my monstrosity that it is a laughable factor now. Or maybe, you like to be fucked this way? You liked to be ravaged by me?” To what extent was I depraved to desire to be fucked by a man whose blood killed mine?

The monster's fated prey

The monster's fated prey

I looked up and my stomach dropped. Aziel Nightbane. The monster himself. His golden eyes burned down at me with pure hate. Up close he smelled like blood and smoke and something darker that made my wolf stir. “Who are you running from boy?” he growled. His voice was low and rough like gravel under boots. His grip tightened on my arm hard enough to bruise. I gasped for air and forced words out even though my throat felt tight. “Please. I am nothing. Just a slave omega. Let me go and I will disappear. You will never see me again I swear it.”

Monsters From The Mist

Monsters From The Mist

Their arms were so long they used them to walk along with their two legs, like the gorillaens I had once seen in the zoo back at Coven Community. These beasts had huge heads like wolves, fangs as long as my arm, their eyes were snake-like, and their huge bodies had thick muscles designed by a map of veins. They had long scorpion tails. These were monsters that have never been heard of or seen in the history of Mistworld. They didn't look like demons either. I'd read about all the types of demons, so I was certain these weren't demons. "What in Zhyrie's name are these things from?" I muttered to myself in horror.

The Mates of Monsters

The Mates of Monsters

I tighten my grip on David and ask, "Your proclamation—what's the big picture? Where do you see this going? I'm curious, Alpha Nicodra. Do you have any specific ideas regarding how exactly you're going to resurrect our culture?" He lifts his glass to me and says, "I'm happy to hear your interest. My ideas are truly rooted in our conformity to a way of life that was simply not built on the beings we are. Frankly, Brigette, we are not human. In all honesty, we're monsters—at least to them, at least in our physiology." "Monsters," I repeat, tasting the word on my tongue.

This is a very good book and can be part of my Recommended List. And for readers like me who like to read reviews first before deciding if they will read the book, this is NOT your TYPICAL werewolf story if you’re like me who loves reading them. BUT it’s very worthy tackling the true concept of MATE

What a delight! Well-written, this story is an expression of the authors maturity in writing and in story telling. Internal dialogue and conflict of our main is the whole story, the tone slightly heavy. Great feminist lead, who has her cake and eats it too! Also the Alpha is pretty great too.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Charlotte was not a fool, and when she glanced in the direction the monster was heading, she immediately realized what went on. "Casper?" The memory flashed in her mind instantly — The fake loyal ministers, the raiding shape-shifting demons, the monsters attacking the city, the evil cultivators invaded, and at the last moment, she was caught by the evil cultivator who was half-human half-monster… "You're that evil cultivator!" Charlotte turned her gaze to look at that strange being.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Chasing My Alpha Ex wife

Chasing My Alpha Ex wife

I raised my blade and pointed it at him. “My turn.” The Fireline Screamed. Men thrashed in burning oil. Arrows flew from our walls, lighting the sky like vengeful stars. Spears crashed against shields, and the first wave of Xavier’s front line was consumed by chaos. And yet, it wasn’t enough. From behind the flames came the monsters. Not beasts. Men. But twisted. Twice the size of normal warriors. Eyes white with smoke. Chains wrapped around their chests like they were born in bondage. They didn’t flinch when the flames touched them. They didn’t scream when their flesh sizzled.

Forced To Marry A Broken Monster.

Forced To Marry A Broken Monster.

Apparently, they ran deep. It was a horrific video. Watching what that monster do to Ezabella made me sick to my stomach. It forced another reality between us and how she was the true victim to me forced into this marriage and not me. My eyes dropped to her right knee, the same one Eliot Williamson had bashed in with a metal bat, swinging it on her knee over and over again until it was nothing but a bloody mess. It must have been a nightmare to live through, and another nightmare to have someone send it to a group chat.

The Chosen One

The Chosen One

They were Monster Knight in their home in the village of Redberg on the eastern coastline of the land. They are the knights of the church, their army. Monsters, humanoid in form, they're uncouth, messy, dirty, disgusting, barbaric creatures with no sense of honor. The only times they do work together will more than likely resemble something akin to a horde than anything like a professional army.
