Xanthis broke the silence first. "Do you need introductions? I'm Xanthis Diaz Montero, older than Dre by six minutes. I'm the smart ass here. He's Alexandre Leon Montero, older than you by two minutes. He's a mafia bos, a major alpha male" Xanthis said, scrunching up his nose. Everyone laughed at the expression on his face. But, Valentino was too tensed to do that.

“I'm still alive; thanks to you this time.” It puzzles me how blithe he is about being poisoned by his own family. He smirks, obviously enjoying my frustration. I wanted to say more, but Beta Xander spoke in a low but firm tone. “Enough, Alpha.” Maddox scoffed before he turned his attention to Xander. “Tell me, Beta Xander. What would you do if you got mated to a Montrell? Will you go for it or stay with your chosen?” “I don’t have a chosen…” “Of course you do. I’m not blind and stupid.” Maddox laughed. Xander swallowed, but his face remained expressionless.

The scene was terrifying, and Mont was most likely crippled now. This new goddess was not someone they could offend, not with how she could continue with classes calmly after beating someone up. Before he could respond, the echoing sounds of heels filled the corridor and Emily joined us. "Ah, I see you have met my mate." She beamed. "Monty please meet Violet." "I already figured that out..." Which just makes me hate him more. “But you, my queen, may call me Monty.” “I accept your offer, Monty,” Laney says, playing the part for the camera while eyeing me for saving.
