“I love you, Sir Theo, but there is still something that bothers me.” Theo looked at him in an endearing manner. He sat on the bed next to Monty and put his arm around Monty's shoulders. “What bothers you? Tell me everything.” Monty took a deep breath. “Am I the only one? I know you're an alpha with so many omegas around you.” Theo snorted in a way that sounded almost like a laugh. Monty's question hadn't been funny, but it threw him off in a way that caught him by surprise.

He mentioned both names, just to be sure. "The one and only, Neil. I mean, that's the only newbie that performed tonight, it's her! Oh man, I can't wait to break the news to her, deliver her into his arms and count the crisp dollar bills later on. I can't wait, excuse me!" She yelled and pushed him aside. She rushed backstage while he stood there. That girl had copped her first customer, and it wasn't just any man. He was Xavier Monterrey, one of the highest-ranking wolves in the country.

Anila POV “Mate?” My voice came out as nothing more than a whisper. Xaden, this incredible werewolf Alpha, stood in front of me pouring his forest green eyes into me like I was some kind of precious gem. “I have been waiting a while for this moment,” he said, taking hold of my hand and bringing it to his lips. “What is your name?” My face immediately warmed from his touch alone. “Anila Montgomery,” I whispered. “Anila…” he spoke softly, testing my name on his tongue and I loved the way it sounded coming out of his mouth. Then his eyes narrowed, and he looked at me with recognition. “Montgomery?”

he mumbles while tracing Balvina's palm. “Awww . . . So romantic . . .” Monta mumbled and hugged herself while giggling. But when their eyes met, he could clearly see that Monta is really up to something. So he squinted his brows trying to point out what Monta’s been thinking. For he could already smell her smelly thoughts even if she was not saying a thing.

As he made his way to the door, there was a firm knock, one that they could all tell who it was immediately. Monty quickly rushed to the door of the study and opened it, offering Martha one of his rare smiles that he only reserved for her. “Good morning, Miss. Stone,” Monty said in a much gentler tone. Xavier scoffed and rolled his eyes. No matter how many times he sees it, he is still somehow shocked by how suddenly Monty’s usual cold demeanor would change around Martha. Monty has had a crush on Xavier’s aunt for as long as he got introduced to his mother’s side of the family.
