Moon Born Novels & Stories

His hot breath washed over me, making my skin prickle with fear, and I felt his gaze like a physical touch, making me shudder. The chains creaked and groaned, straining against the beast's fury. I knew it was only a matter of time before Romain broke free, and I was consumed by the horror that loomed before me. The Moon Goddess seemed to have abandoned me, leaving me to face this terror alone.

His queen for the rest of their lives. She heard a knock on the door and saw it was her friend, Lucy. “Hey girl”, she said as she hugged her. They walked into the living room and sat on the couch. “Newly engaged alpha queen!!” Lucy said, hailing Beatrice. Beatrice laughed. “Stop it. We aren't even married yet. We need to spend our full moon together as a rite of passage.” Lucy chucked. “You guys have spent the full moon together before. He was your ex, remember? That should count for something.

"So, moonlight isn't just sunlight bouncing off the moon; it's like a transformed version of sunlight, carrying a different energy?" "Exactly!" She nodded, pleased with my understanding. "It's like the moon's own version of sunlight, altered and imbued with a unique essence as it journeys through space and time before reaching us here on Earth. That's what makes harvesting moonlight so intriguing—it's tapping into this distinct energy source, harnessing its qualities for various purposes. It's almost like the blue fires used by certain creatures, but not quite similar."

Children of the Moon Clan are extremely rare. Children born from the Dawn, Sun, and the Sunset Clan are not. It was difficult for the Moon Clan’s females to get pregnant and that is why they aged slower then the other Clans. Fifty years in the Dawn, Sun, and Sunset clan was only twenty in the Moon Clan. But a night between the Moon Clan Princess and the Dawn Clan’s King Janus one night at a party made Princess Luna a target. Having no other choice, Princess Luna gave birth to their child and sent her through a portal into the Human Realm. When she dropped her little baby girl off at the human hospital in Montana, she named her Nyx Aurora.

"There are two goddesses of the moon, Altamira and Lunar. Lunar is the head of the moon, and she birthed the Lunar Crest." "That's how we got the name?" "Yes," Adrian answered. "Crest, I don't know about that one." Phoebe stood up and walked towards them. "Maybe it's her nickname or something." "It's not possible." Trevor said. "I will have to ask my grandfather about it." Tristan smiled at Luna. "My grandfather seems to know a lot about Lunar Crest." "I don't know what you both are doing in our ride. You belong to another pack, Cruter Toon."

Even Kael. Even, she saw it from the corner of her eye. Vara? something furious and terrified crossing her face before she too reluctantly, inevitably, bent. Selene stood in the center of a bowing pack, silver light pouring from her skin, the moon pressing down on her like a crown. She didn't know what she was. But the wolves did. They had always known. Moon-touched, the old stories whispered. Born of wolf and spirit. Rare. Powerful. Every wolf alive will one day kneel.

But more come…it is useless. Armond yells, “Useless servant.” He looks at his minions. “Your snack is served.” They descend on him like vultures. He smirks. “Now, chain her properly.” His minions chained me to the floor, where I could barely move. Armond stood in the center of the stage. He raised his arms. “The blood moon rises tonight, and with her blood we will reign supreme.” He lifts an ornate goblet. The hall erupts in cheers. My anger boils over.

Training Under the Moons A short time later, Luna stood on a rocky hill outside the camp. Mira stood several steps away. “Focus,” Mira instructed. Luna closed her eyes. She could feel the energy of the Fallen Moon stirring inside her again. “Good,” Mira said. “Now reach for the light of the other moons.” Luna hesitated. “I thought I could only use the Fallen Moon.” “Normally, yes,” Mira replied. “But the Moonbearer is different.” Luna slowly lifted her hands. Silver light formed between her fingers. The glow brightened.

Oh, my goddess, what are we going to do? "Kelp, how touched?" I asked. "I don't know, but she's close to the goddess. Won't know how close until she turns 17." is his answer. Anyone who is moon touched means they are related to our moon goddess, Selene. They can be male or female, but no one knows their relationship to the goddess until they turn 17 and the mark appears on their forehead. The goddess then visits her relatives, helping them to understand their power.

"Yeah. I was told about my identity and that of my Mom, but nothing else — not about a Blood Moon. All Violet did was use me to save her lover." I was silent for a second, thinking about the pity that laced her voice as she said her last sentences. Rubbing the back of my neck, I thought of how to put it all so she could understand. "The Blood Moon is a particular full moon that happens once in a century. But, it's actually an eclipse of the sun, where the moon goddess and the sun god would meet and —" "Wait a minute," Jessica muttered, cutting me off. "There's a sun god?" She asked.
