My eyes could only perceive a pair of wings, so enormous they spanned across the vast expanse of space, seemingly covering half the world. These wings were connected to a form that was blinding due to its brilliance. I assumed it to be the creature Cassian had referred to as the Thunder God's progeny, a creature that would punish anyone entering the labyrinth.

From the shadows, black smoke-like tendrils waft into view, shifting and taking shape, like a work of sorcery. Sulfur-golden eyes burn through the mist, and a chill that has nothing to do with the night's breeze rattles my bones. We've found the Lycan.

As they expanded, all the surrounding spider silks were ruthlessly severed, and an ice-blue light flowed on the wings, looking extremely beautiful.
