Time was of the essence when it came to possible war. I managed to get ready very quickly but took a few moments to look at the mark for myself. It was silver and in the shape of two crescent moons facing outwards, the symbol of Selene, the Goddess. The nurse that was helping me change even gasped a little when she saw it, but I tried to ignore her.

She returned to the embrace of the Moon Goddess, seeking solace and guidance as she navigated the aftermath of her mission. In the realm of the Moon Goddess, Andrea found herself surrounded by the ethereal beauty and wisdom of the divine. A crescent moon, surrounded by seven distinct, delicate stars, locked permanently into the flesh of her right wrist—the sacred, undeniable Moon Mark of the Sovereign Empress.

"The tattoo behind your ear, that's to cover the mark my daughter gave you, right? It's not really to cover it, but to bind it. You've also marked Noreen. I saw it behind Noreen's ear." Thiery stared at Maria intently. "You... Which pack are you from, Ma'am?" Maria opened the long sleeve of her blouse, revealing a tattoo of a moon with a lightning bolt crossing it on the inside of her arm, just below the elbow. "Ah," Thiery said. "I see."

As it touches us, a new mark appears behind our left ears— the mark of the Moon Goddess Pack. The symbol is an upside-down crescent moon, its opening pointing down. Stylized lilies adorn the inside, Selene’s favorite flowers, signifying her blessing. Three arrows extend downward from the crescent—one pointing straight down, one toward the heart, one toward the back—representing guidance, protection, and faith. Every previous pack mark disappears, replaced by this one sacred blessing. Selene twirls once, her joy palpable, before withdrawing her presence. The glow fades, leaving Meredith standing alone on the stage.

And I knew he disliked me already. Enzo turned to me. In his palms rested the Luna ring, forged from a single perfect moonstone that was so rare that the goddess delivered it herself, Legend said it had once belonged to the first Luna of Silverfang, the one who wove the original protection spell they said she could see Selene and talk to her.

The bustle of the Moonbane pack was overwhelming to Layla. The Moonbane insignia of a large waning crescent moon with the Moon Goddess standing fiercely in the middle was everywhere she looked. It felt like overkill. She couldn't even remember her father's pack's insignia.

Her eyes were silver and she wore a silver dress that shimmered in the blue light. Azura was mesmerized by the woman’s beauty. “Come my child,” the woman spoke, her voice so serene. Azura stepped closer. “I’ve been waiting for you,” the woman said softly. “Why? Who are you?” Azura asked curiously. “I am your mother and mother of all wolves. I am the goddess of the moon. I am Selene,” she replied with an earnest smile. Azura was taken aback at her response. “But what can I do for you?” Azura said confusedly. “My child, you are special. You are my gift to my children. You are the key to end Leus’s evil,” she said smiling again. Azura was still confused. “But..how am I suppose

“How can this be possible?” “No one knows why the moon goddess chooses what she does, but we cannot disregard her blessing, none of us.” Zane says, the first to speak up and the others ponder what to say. “We have to make this work, none of us will want to let her go.” I sigh, “how could this ever work?” “Taking turns would be a start, we’ll have to make some sort of schedule as to who gets to be alone with her.” Dean says slowly, though I can tell he’s less than happy.

Anyone who is moon touched means they are related to our moon goddess, Selene. They can be male or female, but no one knows their relationship to the goddess until they turn 17 and the mark appears on their forehead. The goddess then visits her relatives, helping them to understand their power.
