She looked up at distant towns and found this one, Moonsville. A small town far north of Texas. It was perfect. Once she was fine, she got a plane ticket for her and her mom and left New York. If the police find him and he is behind bars, she would come back but for now, this is her home. She had withdrawn all of her savings and was living off them. The moon was high in the sky, its light reflecting off the surface of the water. Alpha Wade stood on the shore, his eyes fixed on the moon. It called to him, its song echoing in his soul. He felt the pull of its power, and he knew that he had to answer its call.

I asked, turning to the other woman, who pulled down her hood. She was glowing a soft white, and her skin was the color of the moon, her eyes pitch black. She wore a thick silver crown that bore the different cycles of the moon. The full moon at the front of her head, “It’s been some time since I have seen you, child.” The woman’s voice was echoed, a mix between a man’s and a woman’s voice. “You’ve grown so much… I can’t wait to see you lead our people into the era of the light and out of the era of darkness.” “What do you mean? I asked pointing towards the box. He walked to stand in front of me, "This is for you," he lifted the box slightly. "Open it," he nodded with his head. I slowly lifted the lid of the box and a small gasp escaped from my lips as I looked at the wind chime in the box. A smile instantly made its way on my face as I touched the cold surface with my fingers. It made a soft noise when I tried to remove it from the box. There were three golden rectangular tubes in the middle with small stars and moons dangling around them unevenly. The moons represented every shape of the moon while the stars were shining brightly around it.

" Stacy said everything that happened just now, her mother coaxes her and said ''Stacy you have plenty of time to lure max, don't worry, just enjoy tonight. You know you are beautiful enough to make anyone fall it just time is not a right baby girl." Stacy confidently said, ''Yes mom you will see one day Max will fall for me."

I felt happy but deep inside I was always sad. I wasn't able to sleep that night. I kept turning around. The dream I used to have come back. This time I saw his face. His blue eyes sparkled. It had always been him. Mike. He even conquered me in my dreams. He never left me alone. Then, suddenly I was lost in darkness. Pitch black darkness everywhere I looked. But suddenly a beautiful woman came near me. She was dressed in white. Her hair was white as well. She hugged me. She comforted me. "Don't be afraid my child. I am the moon goddess. You are never alone. He is your world." she spoke. A knock on the door woke me up. It was my mom who came to wake me up.
