The fossilized "Looms" of the Founders were being torn apart by the sheer pressure of three billion reclaimed memories. The Moon wasn't a satellite anymore. It was a Beacon. The Dawn of the Third Age Back on Earth, the survivors looked up to see the Moon "shining" for the first time in history—not with reflected sunlight, but with its own internal, indigo fire.

The walls appeared to be made of moonlight itself, casting a gentle, silvery radiance throughout the chambers. At the altar, a figure shrouded in a flowing gown of silvery light knelt in silent prayer. It was the Moon Goddess herself, a serene and radiant presence that seemed to embody the tranquil beauty of the night sky.

Shadow growled. “Oh, please don’t yell, you’ll wake my grandpups and they’ve been through a lot. I am Storm’s mother, Selene. And yes, I am THE Moon Goddess.” She rolled her eyes. “Okay, so if you are the Moon Goddess, prove it.” Shadow demanded. Selene glared at Shadow and huffed. “Shadow and Jennifer Collins. How are your pups?” she asked. “How are Spyder and Spencer? Isn’t their mate expecting along with her cousin?”
