Between his fingers, the Moonstone Chalice gleamed, its silver surface catching the flashlight's glare, the large moonstone at its center pulsing with a faint, mocking light. She jumps down off the rock she had been perched on and squats down by some mudd. I watch with interest as she begins digging into the mudd throwing it back between her legs. She gets so into digging that even I am pelted with some of the thrown mudd from time to time. Layla is so engrossed in her mission that she doesn't even notice me step up behind her and lean over her shoulder to watch. When she has dug deep enough I see a huge mound of worms wiggling and writhing about trying to dig back down into the mudd now that their home has been invaded.

POV: Liora The sound of the Moonstone cracking echoed through the Heart Chamber with terrifying clarity, a sharp, crystalline fracture that seemed to tear through the fabric of the world itself.
