I guess that day was today. I were already wrapping up with my mates the plan for the next mission, when Alpha boomed through the link, “Your mate is in trouble. Packhouse. Now!” I ran like my life depended on it—because hers might. I shot a message through the mind link for another warrior to finish without me as I sprinted across the field, pushing every bit of speed my wolf could give me. He was just as frantic as I was.

MOSES'S POV I left the pack house and headed to the pack training ground, dressed in my joggers and a black top. Immediately I got there, my betas were already training while the warriors faced each other training with one another. I joined to have the routine training, I always made sure to fight with my betas because we needed to remain the most powerful pack in the town. We fought for a few hours because we already scheduled a meeting for today and I did not want to keep the elders waiting.
