Charlie greets once she opens the door. Two average-sized men on police uniforms nod their heads in apprehension. Charlie waits for them to finish shaking off snow from their boots before stepping in. The first thing Charlie notices is the lack of guns in its holsters. She rolls her eyes with a sigh. Of course, what'd she expected? The slightly taller one with a mustache pulls out a small notepad from his breast pocket, "Good day, I'm Officer Bradford and this is my partner, Officer George," he says, pointing to his partner.

She was feeling very confused right now. "I'm sorry. It's just that when I see you, I see Dottie. And when I picture Dottie... well... I..." He trailed off, realizing he was saying far too much. Sheila blushed, as Essence returned with a USB and asked, "When you picture Dottie, what?" "Oh nothing," Charlie said. "Do you see your beloved Dottie in Sheila?" Essence asked point blank. "Yes, I do, actually," he admitted as Essence plugged the usb into the television set.

Barlin's heart skipped a beat as he could tell Charlie wasn't joking, but couldn't figure out for the life of him how his stalwart flying sword would be pulverized for no reason. To hide his insecurity, he taunted Charlie in disdain, "You're on your last leg, brat! My fists alone are enough for you!" "I guess you'd be able to see that I'm on my last leg now…" Charlie smiled and nodded, and suddenly reached into his pocket and pulled out two Jumbo Cultivating Pills and swallowed them without hesitation. Then, smirking at Barlin, he asked, "But what about now?" Even as he was left stupefied, Barlin's heart sank.

I replied. “No, sweetie. We heard from Gabby that it was your first time having Charlie in your system…” Aunt Almira spoke over the phone. I gathered the couple must have had the phone call on loudspeaker while talking to me so they could respond to whatever I would say simultaneously. “Charlie?” I asked with confusion. “Who is Charlie?” I heard the couple chuckling at my question. “Charlie is the white powder you were given at the strip club,” Aunt Almira said with slight humor.
