MIA'S POV After I reached my room, I collapsed onto the bed, trying to make sense of everything that had happened. I couldn't deny that I was attracted to Marco, And that scared me- how could I be attracted to someone who I met just today, my new owner. And he wasn't just anyone… From what I gathered from the men's conversation, Marco was their Mafia leader. Only that thought was enough to send shivers down my spine and not in a good way.

Scar grabbed Moses who was still sobbing, shaking him. Moses just kept sobbing, unable to voice a coherent word. He was not getting anywhere; Scar looked at Moses who had become like a bubbling idiot. He took deep breaths and tried to reign in his emotions for a moment. “Moses! Moses look at me!” Scar raised his head and looked him straight in the eyes. It took a moment before Moses finally got a semblance of normality. Scar nodded. “Where is Simi?” he asked. “He- she-” Moses began again and then burst into tears. He pointed to a general direction, and as Scar turned to look, he couldn’t really place it.

I gasped as I grunted and coughed. I kept begging him out of fear of what he might do but he just scoffed with disgust. "What a rat" he said and everyone laughed. "I, Lucas Culkin, reject you, Kieran Franklin as my mate" he said and surprised gasps erupted from the crowd. He has slightly pulled back the collar of her shirt, showing a black and bloody scar where her Mate Mark was. This is what a Scarred One looks like. I am horrified that she had to go through that. You got here before anything could happen.” She said as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her tight to him.

Maybe it was a side effect of the loss of our mate so abruptly. Ulva did not take those words well. She stood up on all fours and groaned bitterly. ‘I thought you know better than this, Scar...
