Corey remained silent as he looked toward the dark garden. “I just wanted everyone to be okay.”
“I know.” Jethro smiled sadly, but who makes sure you’re okay? Corey didn’t answer. Jethro reached across the space between them and squeezed his brother’s hand. “That’s what I want to do now.”
