It was a place designed for intimacy and discretion, far from the prying lenses of the paparazzi who now camped outside their apartment building. They talked about everything but the hospital, the BPD, or the fake engagement. They discussed books—Anna's love for existential philosophy, Dylan's unexpected passion for historical biographies. They argued over music—Anna's preference for classical cello, Dylan's taste for aggressive, early 2000s rock.

I was still drinking when I heard my phone beep Lydia: "Not yet" Me: "what are you doing?" Lydia: "watching movie with Nicole" Me: "Perhaps is it romantic comedy" I asked Lydia: "No action movie" Me: "Next time we are going to watch movie together but romantic comedy" Lydia: "Okay " she replied this girl she's funny Me: "I miss you" I instantly reply, I know its not been long we met but I still miss her, I waited for her to reply back but she didn't, so I texted her again

I stopped trying to make friends years back when the students here wouldn't stop teasing me for being a mute. This is really crazy, I'm sure there is got to be a mix up somewhere. Maybe the mate bond system is broken or something. Because, not only am I mated to two men and one of them just so happens to be my stepbrother and the other, I haven't even heard from him. But didn't he say he teaches at this same academy, how come I haven't heard about him then? "Miss Rage," the teacher called out, snapping me back to reality.

Making me roll my eyes at him. " He doesn't love is anymore". Mason said wiping fake tears from his eyes. " seriously"?. " What are you two doing here?". " Can't we visit our best friend again?". Mason said with fake hurt. I rolled my eyes at him. " Don't you both have a company and a firm to run?". I asked looking between them. " well we were thinking of grabbing coffee at a new coffee shop, I heard they serve good coffee and desserts there. We wanted to go give it a try. Want to join?". Michael said.

Elysia: *Typed her address* His reply came almost instantly. Sebastian: Great. See you tomorrow. Elysia: Good night. Being an introvert, it hasn't been easier for her to communicate with others. But she can be herself through the phone. At the other end, Sebastian sat on the rocking chair. A cigarette in between his fingers while, on the other hand, he was holding the mobile. The little conversation which he had with her was shining on the screen. He can't even count how many times he read it.

I couldn’t help but gesture with my hands to my mouth in frustration, urging him to get straight to the point of his visit. “Alright, alright, I’m getting there. I guess we don’t need this between us,” he said, smirking. “The pack is in dire need of your help, and you’re the only person who can be of assistance to us.” Looking in disbelief, I pointed a finger to my chest, gesturing “Me?” Confusion graced my face. How can a mute seriously be of assistance to the pack? I squinted my eyes, staring at him to see if he’s drunk or just plain mad.

Andrew "Don't get mad and hear me out." That is how Judith started our conversation this morning after I got to school. I really wanted to talk to her about what happened last night with Beta Austin because I was literally reeling right now but with a start like that I don't know where to go from here. I haven't mentioned to anyone yet that he is my mate. "Okay..." She looks nervous but dives right in, speaking so fast I have a hard time concentrating.
