Maria shouted. Hailey gritted her teeth, trying to recall what this witch was trying to make her remember. “You're not weak!” Maria shouted. “You're a powerful woman not the weak vegetable they take you for!” Hailey's heart skipped a beat. She wasn't weak? Did that mean she was someone else? The voices began chanting Zira again, making Hailey's body tremble. Meanwhile, Maria was busy chanting spells, and Hailey's body began to tremble uncontrollably, she held her head as the loud voices increased. Suddenly, Hailey fell to the ground and passed out.

She reached the library and found a quiet spot, surrounding herself with the history books James had recommended. "I should be relaxing today, but no, I’m stuck in accelerated exams! So annoying!" she muttered. She felt a surge of resentment toward Drex, who treated her like a servant and dictated her life. "I’m a fan of Drex Ethan! Yes, he’s charming. But he’s a Lycan! Lea, wake up! He isn’t even human. What are you even expecting?" She stared at a history book, her thoughts racing. "Elea! Remember what James said? Lycans can't have serious relationships with humans because we die too fast!"

The fuck she was having a conversation with herself. 'Oh, shush. I will. Just shut up and listen.' MJ closed her eyes in pain. She had no choice but to go back to her bed. She will drown in aspirin later. 'You have been reading the lycan book. I know you are intrigued. What if I tell you it is all real?'

Liam's whole body was littered with red hickeys and teeth marks. Lucas put his hand on the zipper of his jeans and looked up at Liam. "You… You can". He consented verbally just like Lucas wanted and he didn’t waste a single moment to open the zipper. Liam saw those eyes. The eyes of a predator. A hunter. A Hungry Wolf. He tried to keep his eyes open but he lost the moment Lucas nuzzled his nose on the bulge at his briefs. That... That was the most intoxicating scent Lucas had ever smelled. He was snuggling his nose more and deeper on the briefs to take as much as the musky scent in his system.

I saw an unrecognizable face talking to Tristan, “Something doesn’t seem right, we must search for her.” “Get my horse ready,” I heard Tristan’s voice, “Great, my arrow and sword are ready too.” I removed my hands from Tristan’s body as my body shook. I lay on the floor for some time when everything was blurry. I managed to crawl on my back to the table, I tried to reach for the water, I stretched and the cup of water fell from the table to the floor. “Lycan!! Queen Aurora!!” Travis banged on the door. I couldn’t speak, I didn’t have the strength to, “I will break the door if you don’t open it.”

But I don't have much choice. "You're not here to have the mate bond separated, are you?" the Gaze Reader drawls, voice thick with an unintelligible accent. I swallow, but the lump in my throat goes nowhere. The Readers eyes are a foggy, purple colour, already feeling like they are drawing out my thoughts before the ritual has even started.

The images of the corpses I brutally murdered briefly pass through my memory, making me shudder and sweat. No! I can’t make that same mistake again! Relax, Mackenzie, relax! Gabrielle inches his face closer to mine. Then, he offers a totally unwelcoming surprise. He plods his tongue and brushes it against my cheek, while his hand squeezes my b.reast. “Disgusting!” I yelp. I keep pushing him away, but he’s way taller and heavier than me. If only I’m as strong as my lycan self, this is gonna be easy!
