"Mom, Mark is my boyfriend, and he took me out to bond with his wolf," I replied calmly. My mother rolled her eyes, her mood soured as she gritted out, "Fine. I know that I cannot advise you about him, but you should be careful and advise him to come and marry you."

“How?” “I have a new boyfriend now, baby,” she blurted out as her face turned red talking about this new boyfriend. “Who is he?” “You don’t need to know all the details yet but he got me something for you so you should have it,” she said calmly as she urged me to take the bag. “Mom?” I looked at her, really skeptical because who the hell was he? The thing about my mom was since my father died, getting a boyfriend had not been an issue because she was a fine and hot woman who could get any man she wanted.

I called and she smiled. She raised her brows and grinned before letting herself into my room. She smiled looking around and she turned to look at me. " How's he ?" Mom asked. " Who ?" " Your boyfriend.." " What boyfriend ? Look mom , I don't have a boyfriend." I said at once as my mom Chuckled. " I know. You spend the night. Riley did you have sex with him ?" Mom asked. " No." I shouted and sighed in exasperation. " No mom.." I replied softly.

My mom asked me as I was busy glaring at Tanya who was looking at me and by the looks of her it was making me uncomfortable. I looked at my mom but before I could speak Tanya cut me off. "Yes I'm the one Aunty, he is my boyfriend" she said and smiled widely at my mom and my eyes widened at her answer. When I looked at my mom she looked beyond pissed. She looked at Tanya looking for the ways to make her voice stop because I can tell by her look that he was seconds away from strangling Tanya's neck.

She groaned out and gave up altogether before leaning in to stare at me. “ How are you doing? Got any boyfriend yet? ” She inquired and my eyes shot towards Ace asking for some much needed help. For the past days, Mom had been getting on my nerves asking the same damn question. Got any boyfriend? She was worried about my love life more than me, while I stayed here not like an early but a dead bird. “ She should stay single. I like her like this. She doesn't need any man. ” Ace intervened, finally becoming the target for Mom's wrath once more.
