Ben sobbed beside him while adding more wood to the hearth, an action he thought he would never do for his beloved prince. “I’ll be alright,” Thorn said weakly to Ben. He wanted to mess up his hair, but found he couldn’t possibly lift his arm. Lingering between a trance and reality, Thorn fought hard against the drowsiness caused by the excruciating pain.
