SKY POV “Samantha…” My voice trembled as a flood of emotions created turmoil inside of me, that tornadoes with an unknown intensity, creating havoc in my already buzzed mind. My eyes traveled down the length of the stranger’s body taking in her form, then traveled up again and settled on her face. How could… “You died…” a whisper escaped my lips while my mind tried to have a grasp of the situation because there was no way in hell or heaven was I seeing my sister, who died 4 fuckin’ years ago.

Ezekiel's eyes widened in shock, and Rebecca quickly stepped between us. With an aggrieved tone, she said, "Maisie, if you don't want to, that's fine. Don't make things harder for Ezekiel. I'll go to the hospital right now and end the pregnancy!" Her tone was so determined that Ezekiel immediately wrapped his arms around her waist. However, the look he gave me was cold enough to send chills down my spine. "Maisie Shaffer, Rebecca is your sister. Do you really have to push her this far?!"

I looked at her sternly, hoping to change her mind. "I know." She said it convincingly. "He's not the same for a long time, but my heart can't betray him ... he's like a son to me." she bowed her head. "Every day I pray that at least a fraction of the previous Richard is left." "But it's not. He's a killer." The woman nodded again. "I know, darling. I understand you. I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do about it, but please eat the soup." she looked at me with kind eyes. "I'll also bring you handmade bread. I'm on your side."

“Good thing we didn’t listen to Eira. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have been able to bathe so peacefully.” Seeing the two about to get all cozy again, the grieving young adults in the city could not stand it any longer. They grabbed their weapons and closed in on the pair. “Castiel, didn’t you say the zombie siege was fake? My sister and my mother are dead!”

I know my sister is dead. "I COULDN'T SAVE YOU, I couldn't save you. It's all my fault,I should have done something to save you. I I failed you,your brother failed you Simon '' I cried and cried until there were no more tears left while holding my sister's dead body to my chest.

My insides twisted, chills traveling through my body. I was still at Lazzaro Visconti’s manor, and my sister was still dead. Tears poured out of my eyes as the memories of how I had watched my sister die in cold blood replayed in my head over and over again. “Zita...” My voice was barely audible as I clutched my chest, the pain slicing through my heart unbearable. My sister was gone. I wished it was all just a bad dream, but... The sound of the door opening snapped me out of my thoughts, and I looked up to see one of the maids coming in. She stopped mid-step when she saw me and gasped.

I told her, but the disbelief retained still in her eyes. “Again that’s not possible, Matthew is dead.” She sounded certain, like I’m the crazy one here still. “And how sure are you because I have a proof to back up my claims,” I retorted, fetching my phone out of pocket so I could show her the texts I’ve been getting from this guy. Though I’ve been told this guy is operating under the dead one’s name, but I’m curious to know my sister’s connection with him. How is she so sure that he’s dead, he mysteriously died of cancer and that didn’t seem suspicious to her.

“Elena who is she?” I couldn’t speak. I couldn’t even breathe. Because standing in front of me was Calla Dawson. My sister. My dead sister. The one whose funeral I’d attended ten years ago. The one whose death had destroyed my family. “Calla,” I whispered. Her smile widened, but it didn’t reach her eyes. “You look good for someone who’s supposed to be dead too.” Alexander’s voice cut in, sharp and cautious. “You have thirty seconds to explain what you’re doing in my home.”

I knew she still hated me. My mother had given birth to a triplet. When we were eight, my second sister, Vanessa, was pushed down a flight of stairs and died from the fall. Back then, she held my sister's body and screamed at me, "You monster! I'll have you thrown in jail!" she cried. Alas, I wasn't sent away to juvenile detention even after she was armed to the teeth with the best lawyers available, as I was too young back then. She hated me to the point she cut ties with me and took my older sister, Angel, away, abandoning me.

When my sister insisted on binding herself to the system and leaving the twenty million fortune to me, I knew she had been reborn too. In my previous life, just to snatch that money, she shoved me to the ground while my leg injury hadn’t even healed. I broke out in a cold sweat from the pain, but her eyes gleamed with excitement as she smiled. “Jana, the system says it can bring good luck. “You’ve always had terrible luck. Even a simple aerial routine ended with the harness snapping! I’ve always been lucky, so I won’t fight you for something like this. I’ll let you have it.”
