The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

Her body was turning all that energy into raw strength. Hayley opened her computer again and noticed her saved post had a new update—just a minute old. [I'm losing it! I dragged my little brother all the way back and almost got killed a few times by him, but luckily, there weren't many zombies on the way. We made it back, but now I see he has a wound! He wouldn't tell me at first, but my little sister noticed his finger was black, and he admitted a zombie scratched him accidentally. What do I do now?]

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA

CLAIMED BY DARK ALPHA

Zonen. My eyes darted around and found him. My little brother was pinned down by men. He wasn’t crying anymore. His tears had dried, leaving empty eyes that stared only at Father’s broken body. “Kill him… or he’ll become a monster like his father,” someone spat. My heart nearly burst from panic. “No! Please! He’s just a child!” Zonen’s lips finally moved. His voice was flat, lifeless. “Kill me.” My entire body froze.

Mated To My Promised Alpha

Fuck. I peer down seeing my brother suffocate on his own blood as his pulse slows. “Brother … what have you done?” I choke out the words as he coughs and splutters on the floor. The fact my brother is even alive is because he is a hybrid. “Couldn’t let you die, what are big brothers for?” he banters even at this time he still has his humour.

Without much ado, he also shed his spirit and joined his brother who he had spent these past months bonding with. Despite his feelings being null, he had tried to understand the latter, especially as Zande had made sure to keep flooding his mind with memories and good things, with emotions and scents of flowers, to keep his emotions well anchored. His brother had understood of course, had been more than grateful to Zande. In the body of the delegate, Dedari met his brother fighting against the vampire taints. It was more than one. His brother had successfully done away with the first one. It remained the other, a tricky one, considering the sharpness of its movement.

The Ceo's Billion Dollar Mistress

She picked up a book beside her bed to kill the boredom and pass the time when her door flung open. "Pardon me," the intruder said. "I thought you were someone else." Zoe recognized him immediately as Mario Pablo. She would never mistake his face. "I know you," Zoe said. He stopped and turned to look at her. "Of course, you do. Everyone knows me." Zoe knew he would not remember meeting her months ago, so she let it go. "My brother works for your family." "I do not have any American worker." "You might not. But your brother does."

The Omega's Tamed Demon; Bound To His Little Wolf

His mother places a palm over his trembling one and she says sorrowfully, “Your elder brother is gone. I never got to tell you, but Zen was my son” ~~ I detach myself from the commotion downstairs and find my mate inside our bedroom and standing by the window. The moment my quivering eyes perch on his rigid back, I deflate with a slouching sigh and gently proceed to meet him. After his mother had revealed that the King of whom Zorien had lived his life abhorring, was his actual brother, he’s been a recluse ever since. The battle ended in our victory and I was surprised to learn that the Were-beings even included themselves in the conflict ongoing on this side of the river.

Zia moved closer to the two figures on the ground and stared down at them. " We meet again Elvira," Zia said. " And who is this fine gentleman by your side?" " You bastard, you guys killed his only brother, and you come disrespect him still," Elvira barked. " Oh....so that was his brother," Zia said and took a step further. She glanced at the body lying dead, then glanced back at the gentleman. " He really is your brother," Zia said playfully. " You should have died in his place, that way you wouldn't have been that sad," Zia said as she glanced at the handsome man. Though he seemed dangerous,he couldn't possibly be more dangerous than her. Zia wasn't afraid of making more enemies.

He is still shocked at what happened in the ball; we were not expecting it. “Brother, we both lost our brother after what he did to our parents, the kingdom, you, and me. Our brother is long dead; his soul is dead, but his body is being possessed by an evil spirit. Don’t let what happened shake you; let’s just remain stronger so we can defeat him and live happily,” he said, and I nodded my head along with him. “You are right; I just want to be happy again. Now that Zira is here, I have to protect her,” he said.

My Brother's Bestfriend

My Brother's Bestfriend

"Mom, I can't go to the same college as my brother!" Morticia exclaimed from the kitchen. "Too late. You're already admitted. Besides, having your brother with you gives me peace of mind," her mother, Ava, replied calmly from the living room. Rolling her eyes, Morticia peeked out from the kitchen, locking eyes with her mother. "Mom, Vincent is a wizard. He literally tormented me in high school." Vincent, lounging nearby with his legs crossed and sipping a smoothie, winked at her. Morticia felt the urge to gouge his eyes out.

The Wrong Brother

The Wrong Brother

I smoothed down the front of my blouse, adjusted my sunglasses, and tried to pretend my stomach wasn’t twisted into knots. This wasn’t just brunch. This was war. Because inside that mansion was Bruno — my ex, Adrian’s little brother, the boy who’d tossed me aside like I was nothing. He thought I’d cry, crumble, disappear. Instead, I was about to walk into his family’s house on the arm of the brother he never measured up to. If that didn’t rattle him, nothing would. The front doors opened before I could knock. Adrian stood there, immaculate as always, dressed in a crisp shirt with the sleeves rolled just enough to show the strength of his forearms. His dark eyes flicked over me, unreadable.

Frequently Asked Questions

The ending of 'Haunted by Brother' left me emotionally wrecked in the best way possible. After chapters of tension and psychological unraveling, the protagonist finally confronts the ghost of their brother—only to realize it was never a supernatural presence at all. The 'haunting' was a manifestation of their guilt over an accident they secretly caused years ago. The final scene shows them visiting their brother's grave, finally speaking the truth aloud, and the ghost silently fading away. It's bittersweet but cathartic, with the rain washing over the graveyard like a metaphor for cleansing.

What stuck with me was how the story played with perception. Early hints—like the brother's ghost only appearing in mirrors or whispering things only the protagonist would know—were masterful foreshadowing. The resolution isn't about defeating a ghost but about self-forgiveness. I reread the last chapter three times, noticing new details each time, like how the brother's smile in the final panel mirrors a childhood photo shown earlier.
