The man smirks, “I’ve made you scream many times, but none of them was because of pain. Most of the time, you screamed for me not to stop.”
“I don’t know your name,” I reply.
“Taran,” he states.
“I don’t know a Taran,” I argue.
He smiles, “You know exactly who I am, little dove.”
“Little dove?” I questioned. Where have I heard that? I’m suddenly overwhelmed as I remember my dreams. Looking at the man-Taran’s face. I suddenly realized it was him. “You…you were in my dreams.”
