She looked up to find Alaina waiting for her to speak up with a slight smile. "Oh! I forgot." That girl said as she pressed her palm with her forehead. Alaina found that gesture a sweet one. She was cute. "I am Clara. I wanted a book Nectar of Pain." She at last told her demand as Alaina gave her that book and made her library card with Clara's constant staring. Alaina didn't know why she was staring at her like that with her big blue eyes. Alaina's eyes were too blue but with a little shade of grey making her enticingly beautiful. Alaina handed her the book as she was getting confused with her constant staring.

Distractedly, I left the book I wanted to pull behind and walked towards the table. Lily’s light scent of flowers hung in the air, and instinctively I just knew that was where she had been researching the day before. Curiously, I looked at the books on the table. One of them looked older than the rest. It’s pages were already yellowed and a corner looked burned off. With a frown, I held the thick back of the book and closed it to see the cover. FAE: The primals in human skin. Goosebumps rose along my arms and I shivered as I read the title.

Drawing in a deep breath, I pushed the double door, letting the smell of old books hit my nose. This, the reality that I wished could be my own reality. "Miss Blake, I thought I wasn't going to see you again until the end of the session." The librarian greeted. We'd become friends or acquitance when she had found me at the end of the hall, bawling my eyes out while holding a book that I needed to study for my exams. She had made jokes of how she was going to charge me for soiling the book with my tears and mascara but at the end of the day, I never got charged for it.

Gladwin thoroughly enjoyed the time he spent with Flavia – the companionship he knew he had wasted during their five years apart. "Wanna go to the bookstore?" Gladwin offered after they finished shopping. "Where to?" Flavia asked again. "Doesn't matter. If possible, let's go to a place with good food too." Flavia seemed to think for a moment before nodding and mentioning the name of one of her favorite bookstores. A while later, they arrived at Flavia's chosen bookstore. Flavia headed straight to the fiction section, while Gladwin walked towards the non-fiction books. "Looking for fairy tales?" someone greeted Flavia as she was inspecting a colorful children's storybook.

"I was just curious nothing else." Florentia smirked, sliding into the seat beside her. "Curiosity can be dangerous, you know." Alexandra hesitated, then shrugged. "So is ignorance." Florentia chuckled, impressed by the sharp reply of Alexandra. "Fair point." She glanced at the title of the book: Theories of Wolf Awakening. Alexandra was searching for answers, and Florentia is already aware of what Alexandra is trying to search.

“Well, at least tell me if I have one part right.” “You have always been so stubborn,” Raquel smirks. Putting his pointer finger into the air, he offers me hope. “Fine. I will give you only one fact.” “Yay!” I clap eagerly. Raquel covers his mouth. Almost as if he is attempting to hide a smile. “I said one, Katrina. Now, go on before I change my mind.” My mind filled with unique books I read, remembering that I read about different creatures from vampires to werewolves and demons to Fae. Then one, in particular, hits me. I can see it as clear as day.

CHAPTER SIXTY SIX “Well, my friend Vivian is one of the toughest people I know. She doesn’t like people easily and when she does, she gives her all and loves them genuinely. She’s loyal. She really did like you and I guess you weren’t ready for all that then, but she was a little hurt and upset about the whole thing. You know, no one likes to get rejected. I gasp as I begin to make sense of it, my mouth falls open at the full realization of what it actually is, the book falls out of my hand with a resounding thud. Francia marches over, about to yell at me, but stops short when she sees the book on the floor, and the box opened, she stares at my scarred face, and laughs. "You poor baby." She laughs at my expression "Porn in a book." I manage out, and she laughs harder "It's not funny, what does Erotica even means?" I say, and she grins. "It's a book dominated by sex scenes. We don't watch porn, we read it, like a fucking lady." She smiles, taking the book from the floor.

" I creased my eyebrows, wondering what these people wanted to instill in me. Pages after pages were read to me, and Flora took her time to explain everything and even describe the act for me.
