Thorian's Perspective As I found myself immersed in a thrilling football match with my friends, the familiar voice of someone in the distance caught my attention. "Look, it's Ashley and her dance buddies," came the taunting remark. Intrigued, I turned my head to observe the source of this comment, and there she was, Ashley, surrounded by a group of individuals she referred to as her "dance buddies." Although, it was clear that some folks had other, less flattering names for them, with one particularly crude addition, "More like fuck buddies."

I was man enough to admit my best friend was built much like the buildings he’d made his living building. “I think Annie likes me, actually,” I told him, quite sure Annie had given me a much easier time than Craig might have as a child. “She was sweet. She loved fishing, so I think I won a couple of points there.” He rolled his eyes. “Suck up. I never thought I would see the day you were looking to score points with a six year old girl.” “Neither did I, actually,” I chuckled. “When you put it like that, I can see why you don’t believe me. I’m not sucking up though, I just wanted to do something fun with them.”
