My Hockey Alpha Book Novels & Stories

For my lack of a wolf? The humiliation I’d made out of myself at the game tonight? Alpha Rhys Jaeger is known as the “Mad Alpha”, mentally deranged Coach who keeps himself off the ice during the games but keeps his pack hockey players in check. While he stands beside Alpha Silas, he looks more calm than the rumors portrayed, towering over even Silas’s pure muscles and height of 6 '2. Everyone knows about him. Or… thinks they do. They say he doesn’t have control when he shifts. That he’d killed Alphas during games, that he doesn’t keep wives, but sex slaves and trophies.

WILLOW Today is regionals. Northwestern University’s hockey team is facing off against California’s Omega hockey team. It’s a freaking bloodbath out there on the ice rink. Both teams are already an hour into the game and after three solid intermission periods, the Omegas are in the lead.

Another one waited in my pocket, just in case. Just in case, if you lose control, you’re dead. Publicly, this place was called the World Hockey Academy—a factory for champions, Olympians, prodigies. Cameras loved it. Sponsors poured money into it. Parents bragged about it. Privately, it was something else entirely. Alpha Academy. An institution built to break wolves and rebuild them stronger. A hierarchy carved in blood, sweat, and enchanted ice. The rink beneath my feet was warded to withstand supernatural force—so Alphas could hit harder, skate faster, and fight without restraint.

“They already have. Look at her, brother. She belongs to the Seal now. And soon, she’ll belong to me.” Something inside me snapped. My wolf surged forward, seizing full control. Bones cracked, muscles tore, fur erupted across my skin. My roar became a howl that shook the chamber, primal and merciless. The elders staggered back, their chants faltering. I was no longer just Luther. I was the Alpha unchained, fury and love and bloodlust incarnate. I lunged, tearing through their defenses, their staffs shattering beneath my claws. Stone cracked, fire roared, the entire chamber trembling under my wrath.

How do you protect someone only to murder them later? How are we supposed to know who she is? Who is the monster coming for her? Is it a man, a woman, or something even worse? I shake myself back to the present. The wolf growls louder. Then it charges. Pain explodes in my chest like someone punched me from the inside. I grab my shirt, gasping, but I don’t back down. Pain be damned. Wolf or not. I have Alpha blood. And Alphas don’t run like chickens.

He corrupted the relic to get his revenge. Alpha Richard stepped forward, his heavy boots clicking loudly against the hard ice. He did not look at the townspeople, and he did not look at my dad. He turned his face directly toward the dark curtain where Holden and I were hiding. His yellow eyes flared with a sick, twisted joy. I know you are here, boy, Alpha Richard’s voice boomed through the empty arena, echoing off the metal rafters. I can smell the pathetic scent of your fated mate from a mile away. Did you think your little tunnel trick would keep you hidden from me?

"I'll parade you around until I get sick of it. I hope Drexel finds out exactly what's being done to you here. I hope he feels the pain deep in his soul. I will break you, and that in turn will break him." I turn my head to meet his gaze. He smiles eerily. Then, he forces me to turn back to the group of people he was with. It takes me a long time to realize that these people all form a part of his hockey team. I've seen them before. Of course, I don't know anyone's name, but they all play ice hockey, alright. And right now, their looks are saturated with bad intentions. "She's a pretty one, Alpha," one of them remarks. I have no idea who he is. "Maybe we can have some fun with her."

The room fell into a stillness as everyone halted, their attention fixed on Mathias. "You claim to be an alpha, preaching about betrayal and the greater good of humanity. Yet, in truth, you embody the epitome of betrayal. Your love extends only to yourself. In fact, you are no true alpha..." Mathias began, his voice resolute, recounting the revelations contained within the book.

Maybe I would care about revenge once we leave this town. “Pathetic.” Gwen rolled her eyes. She gave her essay to Aki who looked so ecstatic that he’ll have her essay. Gwen glanced back at me and at the book that I was reading. “You’re reading about werewolves again? A whole nonfiction book about an alpha that was published only in this town? It was written a few years ago.” I didn’t mind her. I continued reading the paragraph that I left off. “The alpha is the strongest warrior and leader in a pack.” I closed the book, letting my finger mark where I left off. “What if a beta tries to betray the alpha?”

Which also meant they could not discover Ashley in the basement. Axel had trapped everyone without even raising his voice. Suddenly the crowd cheered so loudly that I jerked in my seat. Alpha William grinned. “Oh look, Axel has scored for his team!” My eyes flew toward the ice. Axel had indeed scored. He skated away from the goal with Mason and Tyler crashing into him from both sides in celebration. The crowd went mad. Lena jumped beside me like she was personally responsible for the goal. “That was insane!” she screamed. Axel skated toward our side after the goal. He looked up at us and lifted his hockey stick. Alpha William was clapping with genuine pride on his face. Rebecca clapped weakl
