I laugh, flushing as I steal another quick glance at the man. I feel much better now. The first time was worth it. I want to do it again and again—practice more and perform. I was speaking but he interrupted.

“No, it’s fine. You don’t need to do that. Just focus on your recovery. I saw the news report on Channel 2 – you’re famous now – and just a while ago I also saw you’re able to use your hands again.
