I smiled at him, amused by the sight. "She has always had a crush on me, ever since I saved her long ago," he said with a gentle chuckle. "She is the last of her kind, and she is Immortal." His eyes sparkled with a hint of wonder as he continued, "She has magic, Raven. She will show you when she trusts you fully, for a tiny little thing, she is very powerful." His voice was filled with a quiet admiration and affection for the little one.

I say to her. Then she sighs. “Have you even seen her story? I think she has moved on, Hiram. Look at what she is doing to you. Haven’t you had enough? We can break the mate bond magically without her, and…” “No,” I clutch my chest as I crash onto the ground, the weight in it threatening to suffocate me. “Just tell her I love her.” These were my last words before everything went dark.
