He could wrap his hands around my neck and take my life if he wanted to. “That’s okay,” Kael says, looking over me at the immortal behind me. “Sinful and I were just discussing a few things.” Suddenly, I feel his hands on my shoulders, gripping me. The touch is so overwhelming, I can barely think for a moment, before everything came to me. I studied this immortal very briefly in school. We learnt about the Seven Sins and Seven Virtues at some point. More about the Virtues, but the Sins were mentioned, along with what they are capable of. So when Sinful touched me, it was as if I could suddenly remember who he was.

"Different? You would have sent a check. You would have paid for my silence just like he did. You wouldn't have invited me to your table. You wouldn't have called me sister." "Thats not true, but I am sorry," I said, my voice steady and low. "I am truly sorry for what he did to your mother. I am sorry for the life you were denied. He was a cruel man in ways I am only just beginning to understand. But Margaret, none of that justifies what you’ve done. My father’s sins don't give you the right to murder innocent people."

“ Shit what do I do now ? “ I mumble to myself. Last night was amazing , but it was also a mistake. One that I don’t want to face. In the heat of the moment my mind had been fully on the task of getting off and actually being touched. In the light of day the logic and the consequences of what happened was fully back I let the leader of The Sinners go down on me , I let him watch me groom and I came all over his face until I blacked out. Carnage , the killer , the ruthless man on the cops most wanted list. The one that I’d guess at least forty agents or cops had a bee in their bonnet for to bring down because they knew it would be their career booster.

Arthur's POV They call me a man with a heart of stone, a soul stained black by the world I command. I have never known pity. I have never understood the concept of mercy. To me, people are either assets or obstacles, and I have spent my life removing the latter. But fate is a twisted poet, and it chose a Tuesday night to test the limits of my coldness.

Elara was really finding joy in her sinful friendship with Meela, which she saw as a bright spot in her dark life even though the secrets with the Lennox men were still there. Her mom called her one day advising her about her indecent dressing which she said had gotten worse and also about how same sex making love is a sin in Gods eyes. I quizzed with a quirked brow. "Yes, I realize that. Every being experiences at least one of those sins in a lifetime but you have light energy in you to give you better judgment. It should be easier to not commit all seven the way most of my kind do," he informed which got me thinking. If lust was one of the seven deadly sins and most dark angels experienced it, didn't that mean that they had pointless sex? If they weren't careful, wouldn't that mean there were more hybrids like me or half-bloods like Alina?

As always his two partners flock his side. The lord of the seven deadly sins and his demoness, he takes no pleasure other than his kind.

Other than Azael and Reuel, the three men jumped to their feet instantly. They were utterly spooked to find blood and immediately, their gaze turned to the twins. Oddly, the brothers were calm as they sat in their chairs. Their face was unfathomable and Elise couldn’t make out what was running in their minds. However, it didn’t matter to her. They may deny as much as they want. But eventually, their crimes would come to light one day. After all, karma was a bitch.
