A Murderer's Luck

Alice was already unlucky ever since she was born; her presence brought unfortunate events to her people. Was this her fault? Was this because she did not have her lucky charm with her? Before going downstairs, Alice opened her jewelry box. She grabbed the necklace that sat alone inside. It had three pendants: a silver star, a golden horseshoe, and a small letter ‘L’ for luck. It had been a long time since she wore a piece of jewelry, but today, she needed its comfort. She needed its protection from bad luck. “I know you do not like bodyguards, but you need to have one right now,” Meredith initiated when she arrived at the dining area.

Mafia Boss Lucky Charm

Remona gazed at the picture mouth agape, she didn't know what to do. Shock ran down her spine staring at the picture in her hands, it was a picture of two men who looked the same in boxers standing on the beach. One had a tattoo on his chest but the other didn't, the other had brown eyes while the tattooed guy had dark black eyes. She dropped the phone and stumbled backward with wide eyes, Bruce quickly caught his phone so it wouldn't fall. "I... I... I... " Remona wanted to say something but it was all stuck in her throat, she couldn't believe she had made a mistake already.

The Transcendent Zombie System

The Transcendent Zombie System

A wonderful expression appeared on Lucas' smooth and delicate face. He thought that he was so lucky. He didn't think much as he used the lucky draw. The virtual pointer began to rotate in his mind. A few seconds later, the virtual pointer stopped. "Congratulations, host, for drawing ten chances of crazy integration." "Well..." Lucas was stunned. Just because he didn't know what to say. He was so lucky. Of course, he knew about this kind of chance. Because he had obtained it not long ago. Now, there were ten more chances for crazy integration.

I genuinely love this book, only problems I have with it is the fact that he never actually travels with the people he gets to join him (hattie Mia etc) I wish there were more interaction between them all. second is that there are only 2 or so chapters a day....I have plenty of coins to waste...

I believe no updates is due to the platform not the authors themselves. Many of the books I’m reading are not updated as well. It is possible the authors are not able to upload their chapters on the platform

She Said We’d Be Rich

She Said We’d Be Rich

Red balls: 03, 07, 15, 19, 25, 33. A blue ball: 09. That was our lucky code. Our ticket to getting rich. I sprinted out the back door of the office building and ducked into a narrow alley. Relying on memory alone, I made my way through the streets until I reached the lottery office downtown. The banner at the entrance was still fluttering in the wind. [Congratulations to this outlet for producing a first-prize winner.] I knew it. There were still things in this world Austin could not control.

Saving Brownie

Saving Brownie

Clark said and I bowed like I had just popped a rabbit out of my hat. "Ladies and Gentleman, the lucky draw begins right now! Here's to see who's the lucky one in our town and will go home with exciting prizes." I heard the announcement and retrieved the ticket from my pocket. I held my breath as he declared the winner, "So, our lucky winner is . . . number 5---" "Oh my God, Brownie! I got five in the first digit!" I squealed and Clark's face was passive. "---4---"

Lucky Fortune Cookie Blessings

Lucky Fortune Cookie Blessings

"You’ve already kidnapped me. I can’t escape anyway. But let me make one thing clear. Since you’re all so determined to make her eat my fortune cookie, don’t regret it." Mara and the others exchanged glances, then lit up with excitement. "We won’t regret it!" I nodded and told them to untie me. "Follow the process. First, write your name and birth details on a piece of paper. Then burn it to ashes and wrap it inside." One of the supporters, worried I might try something, quickly asked, "Mara, what do you want on the paper?" She thought for a moment. "Something for delicate features and big eyes. Write that into the fortune. She has to be beautiful. And add a perfect test score. Write it in s

Getting Lucky

Getting Lucky

For me, it was a small stuffed elephant Ryan had won for me at a fair when I was four. It was ratty, but clean, and the same good luck charm I’d had with me throughout every single phase of life, from the day he proudly presented it to me at that fair. He was eight at the time, missing a few teeth, and when he handed it over, his chest was swollen with pride for having won it. “Okay, everyone.” Craig’s voice boomed from the front of the massive office—bullpen, I corrected myself mentally. “Insert your name as a username, and a computer-generated password will pop up. You’ll need to change that password to one you’ve chosen yourself before you continue.”

Lucky in Love

Lucky in Love

“But you got into my car asking for help. And now you’re married to me. So, dear wife, you’re going to have to deal with how I do things.” Karen wrapped her arms around herself. “I’m alive by sheer luck,” she mumbled, more to herself. “Luck.” Sebastian stopped with the glass halfway to his lips. His eyes narrowed, then drifted down to his own left wrist, where the rolled-up sleeve of his shirt revealed the tattoo: 385900. “Fate,” he corrected, his voice strangely low. Karen looked at him, confused by the change in tone. But before she could ask, the words came out uncontrollably.
