I finally had a moment to breathe. Pulling out my phone, I opened my favorite novel app. I scrolled through until I landed on the one I’d recently started reading—a supernatural romance set in a world not too different from my own, except with packs, blood ties, and fated mates. A small smile curved my lips as I dove into the story. I don’t know how long I sat there, lost in the fictional world. The real one melted away with every swipe of the screen. My eyes scanned eagerly across each line, and I found myself smiling, frowning, even softly gasping at certain twists.

"What can you tell me about the app? Noah cleared his throat, his fingers moving over the papers in his hand. "Well, we've managed to incorporate some of the latest advancements in AI technology," he said, his voice eager and enthusiastic. (can’t mention specific apps) Will you remain active on GN? Of course! I love this app; it’s very author-friendly, so any new book I write will eventually be here! Think of this as a long, selfish break.

We are back in Manila, and Ally finally comes home with me. "Babe, what do you want to eat? I'll cook for you," she asked me affectionately. "Anything Babe as long as you cook," I said as I kissed her. Ally was busy cooking in the kitchen, I was bored, so I read some online stories at Good Novel, one of the most popular apps in the world. The most readable stories genres nowadays were LGBT; that was great. Aspiring writers open up their version of the world through a book to love freely in any gender it has, which others cannot accept.

I wish I was there when this photograph was clicked. A few more apps that I saw on her phone, as assumed she didn’t have many, the usual Snapchat, I*******m, Twitter, Spotify and simple messaging apps. Interestingly, I saw many novel reading apps. She really does like reading a lot. I closed it and then went to a very desired place I wanted to see. Her gallery. I opened it and as usual, there were tons of photographs.
