The way he had called three years like it was three days made my throat tighten painfully as I swallowed hard. Turning a corner blindly, I barely registered where I was going until I saw the restroom sign ahead. Without thinking, I pushed the door open rushing straight to the sink but I didn’t make it. I dropped to my knees, gripping the edge of the toilet as everything I had forced down came rushing up. My stomach twisted violently as my body betrayed me in the worst way possible. I hated that after everything, after three years of rebuilding myself piece by piece, he could still have an effect on me.

The industrial stainless steel appliances hummed quietly. It was a completely normal room. I was entirely out of my mind. I walked straight to the massive silver refrigerator. I yanked the heavy door open. I grabbed a large glass pitcher filled to the brim with ice water. I didn't bother finding a clean cup. I didn't care about pack manners. I lifted the heavy glass pitcher right to my mouth. I tipped it back. I drank the freezing water in massive, continuous swallows. The ice cubes hit my teeth. The cold liquid spilled down my chin and soaked right into the collar of my dark shirt. I didn't stop until the pitcher was completely empty.

But underneath all of that, something far more dangerous simmered quietly in his chest. The moment he stepped onto the ice, whispers rippled. Sabastian smiled as his eyes focused on him. “Oh my gosh, he is looking cuter now.” “Another person said, “That’s him.” Another asked, “The transfer student?” “I heard he’s talented, but a bit of trouble.” Leon smirked to himself unaware “Bunch of gossippers, none of your talks mattered anyway.” His eyes were already searching for the only person he came to the Hillary campus for.

EMMA Only this time, as I swallow that down, my stomach seems to roll and I feel a little sick. I push it down, wanting more of mother's delicious cooking, only this time when I put the food in my mouth my stomach doesn’t wait for it to get there and I jump off the stool I am sitting on and run to the nearest bathroom. It's mango-flavored, and it's yummy." Larissa looked at the mango-flavored ice cream. It was yellow. She started to gag again. Larissa covered her mouth and dashed to the washroom, regretting watching the livestream.

“I only saw three movies in my life, so whatever you put on, it will be new for me.” Caleb turns his head in my direction. “Only three movies? Are you obsessed with them or what?” “I don’t want to talk about it,” I say, hoping he won’t pressure me. Caleb sighs. “Fine.” He opens an app on his laptop and says, “Hop on for the Ice Age ride.” The movie begins, and I take a small bite of the food. Just like Caleb predicted, I love lasagna. Between watching the movie and listening to Caleb’s small comments, I eat half of my rations and drink the entire glass of iced tea.

My stomach growled in anticipation, and I dug in with reckless abandon, savoring the flavors and textures of the dishes. I ate with a ferocity that surprised even myself, my hunger and exhaustion momentarily forgotten in the face of this culinary delight. I almost release vomit on the table. Thank goodness there's nothing in my stomach to throw up.  I watch in disgust as she pulls the worm out of her mouth and I feel goosebumps run along my body. I am still shaken with disgust when I feel something off around me. I see fear suddenly plastered on Gabbys face. I turn around to find a fartello looking down at me.
