One Night Stand with the Lycan

One Night Stand with the Lycan

It felt like I could almost hear the whispers of history in the room. "Wow," I whispered, barely able to contain my enthusiasm. "What do these writings say? What secrets do they hold?" The old woman looked closely at the scroll, studying the patterns and symbols on its surface. She glanced at me with a curious and thoughtful expression. "Marco," she said, her voice filled with excitement and mystery. "I don't recognize the language of these writings. They come from a world of ancient knowledge and magic that we can't fully understand." My heart raced with excitement, feeling the thrill of discovering something unknown. I leaned in closer, focusing my eyes on the scroll, trying to make sense

A Deal with Desire

A Deal with Desire

Could it have been a figment of her imagination, or was something lurking within the darkness, watching them with unseen eyes? As they continued their descent, the blue glow intensified, revealing a large chamber adorned with strange, otherworldly murals. At its center stood a towering obelisk, its surface pulsating with a faint, ethereal light. An inscription, similar to the one in the previous chamber, glowed on a nearby wall. Exhausted but determined, Evie and Liam approached the inscription on the wall. The symbols danced before their eyes, a complex code waiting to be deciphered. Just as Evie felt a wave of frustration wash over her, a faint, ethereal voice echoed through the chamber.

THE MYSTERY ABOUT HIM

THE MYSTERY ABOUT HIM

The strange guy speak. He said something in either French, Latin or Greek. Whatever it is, it wasn't a language I've heard before. It was like a recitation or incantation. His voice sounded like gods. A thunder roared so loud as he spoke that no one get to hear the complete sentence of what he said. A wind blew into the class. Light spills in a flood like a hundred golden urns pouring out of the sun. Everyone screamed in terror. I stood and watched him, I watched his mouth move. His eyes were like the sun. His voice was a torrent amplified by the thunderbolt.

Remember: Lost Love

Remember: Lost Love

How didn't she see it before? She examined it. Its worn leather cover showed the test of time, revealing faint traces of intricate inscriptions that seemed to pulse with an otherworldly glow. For some reason, Thalia's heartbeat sped up in excitement. She traced the inscriptions on the book with her fingers. They were etched in silver and gold, and they formed a mesmerizing tapestry of arcane symbols.

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

Mia whispered, breaking away from Julian to point at the drying lines that were rolling off the wooden cylinder. I stepped closer to the mechanism, my eyes tracking the iron needle that was cutting into a master sheet of lead. The text wasn't coming from a terminal. It was being etched by an invisible hand, the characters forming symbols that didn't belong to the Vance encryption or the Thorne legacy. It was an older alphabet—one that looked like a cross between tree roots and tally marks.

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

The pages are old, discoloured, cracked parchment; the ink faded to near-invisible brown. The lighting in the scans is also not great. But it’s all I have. I zoom in on one section, squinting at the looping script. It’s written in a mix of Latin and something even older that is apparently a dialect that pre-dates the Moon Goddess era. I recognise a few Latin words and write them down as I go, hoping I can piece enough together. Light, dawn, balance, creation, the list goes on.

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

His Mask, My Sin

His Mask, My Sin

Just gone. No one speaks. Finally, one of the werewolves clears his throat. “Well. That’s… ominous.” Maelis reaches for the parchment, then stops. Her eyes flick to Ezra. “It’s addressed to you.” Ezra’s fingers curl slowly around it. “And Aiden,” Cassian adds quietly. “Both of you.” My stomach drops. Ezra breaks the seal. The parchment unfolds on the table between us, ancient symbols crawling across the page like living things. At first glance, it looks like nonsense—circles, lines, glyphs intersecting in strange patterns.

My Mysterious Mate

My Mysterious Mate

Something more like a warning she couldn't just express to me. I felt my jaw drop as we pulled up to the palace. It was massive, its architecture a blend of old-world elegance and modern opulence. My eyes roamed the grounds, taking in the gardens, the fountains, the statues. And then I saw the inscription on the palace itself, "Heavenly Palace," in ornate script that seemed to shimmer in the sunlight. I was in awe, speechless. My eyes darted to the parking lot, and my eyes widened even further. There were so many luxury cars, each one more impressive than the last.

Broken Bonds: I want her back

Broken Bonds: I want her back

Back at the Jade goddess temple…… Lucian's POV~ “I don't know, Max. Don't you think this place could suddenly spit out another round of flames?” I asked as we walked through the dark hallway. Max, whose flashlight was still on, was searching for clues down on the floor and on the walls. All I could see was a bunch of gibberish hieroglyphics. It was weird how the writings on the wall sorta looked like all writings from all languages at the same time. From one angle, it almost looked Egyptian and from another angle, it looked sorta like ancient Neanderthal paintings.
