Some of the skulls looked animalistic, others distinctly human. One in particular sent a chill down my spine, its eerie, vacant gaze seeming to follow me.

She screamed in dismay and pointed behind Alex while shivering. Alex and Luna turned their heads instinctively. When they saw that scene, they immediately took a few steps backwards. After that, they watched the skull burrow out of the soil. Alex did not take action immediately as he wanted to find out what this thing actually was. As a result, that thing jumped vigorously and crawled out of the ground. It was really a skeleton. The dense mass of white bones were covered in Yin energy. The creepiest part was that there was a faint red glow in its dark eye sockets, making it seem extremely creepy.

As it got closer, Blake could see the creature more clearly. The body was that of an oversized dog, no more of a wolf, with its straight and seemingly sharp black hair. There was a skull in the shape of a dog in place of its head with no eye sockets or mouth to be seen but a crack along the center of the skull. The creature was moving its head from side to side, and then the center of the skull head opened. Within were what looked like red membranes, and a mighty sonic shriek was heard from the opening. It reminded Blake of a movie he once saw with a similar animal called a Shrieker.

*Lilly’s Pov* Bones… So many bones, and skulls.. It clicked me and sent a shiver to my head to toe when I recognized some skulls belonging to humans. They were scattered everywhere from under the vines that were now moving backward as if someone had pulled them from there. I stepped back in shock. “What’s wrong with them?” I looked at the scene in horror. Do all the plants here really eat humans or anything alive near them?

It'll only embarrass us! "What do you know? How dare you insult my work—" Larissa couldn't be bothered to listen to her bitching. So, she walked up to the box and kicked it, turning the mildly damaged specimen into a broken pile of bones. "My specimen!" the senior screeched. "How dare you?" Larissa scoffed coldly, "The skull has 29 bones, but you couldn't even get that right and made a skull with 30 bones. What do you think you're making, an alien skeleton?"
