I needed to mourn my father and perform burial rites. When I got back to the pack house, my sister was no longer in the pack's hospital. She was outside, waiting for me. "Where were you?" She said grabbing my hand and wrapping hers around it. "I was at the cave." She didn't look at me, she kept looking at her our hands. "You weren't alone were you?".
