"Alpha Aragon changed his mind and sent a Mystwolf. He will arrive tomorrow." My back straightened. My eyes widened. Alpha Aragon had previously judged that White Moon did not have the appropriate security to protect his precious Mystwolf, but then he changed his mind? Even if Xavier bribed him with a hunk of diamond for this exchange, I wouldn't care. I was so grateful. "The Alpha explained that the Mystwolves are basically witches born from wolves. So they are more capable of handling magic problems in werewolves." "This is really good news. I really appreciate your efforts to persuade Alpha Aragon without giving up," I said, touched.

“Where’d you learn that?” “High school,” Jake said, slamming it into gear. “Long story.” Tyres shrieked on torn asphalt. The W.R.X. launched. Wolves pounded after them, then one by one peeled off, howls echoing under concrete. At the head of the pack, a scarred she-wolf—taller, broader—snarled, snapping at a male that edged too close. They didn’t follow. They watched. They always watched. Jake tore a glance in the mirror. Nothing but yellow eyes and patient rage.

I always wondered why there are no black wolves in the modern world. More precisely, why I have not yet come across one. After all, my inner beast is a black wolf. And the answer was simple - I'm from another world, the world of magic and sorcery. Also, the gift of fire flows in my veins, and after traveling to the universe of my ancestors, I was finally able to curb it. It was only after visiting the house of my grandparents that I managed to truly learn how to control my flame. Now I will no longer allow you to wipe your feet on me, because my strength is in no way inferior to the strength of any alpha male. The frightened puppy is a thing of the past and, if necessary, I will force everyo

As they reached the lush greenery, they simultaneously surrendered to their wild sides, their bodies transforming with a fluid grace. Hazel's Wolf, Mia, emerged with a silvery glow, her fur shimmering in the sunlight. Maya's Wolf, on the other hand, was a stunning deep black, her coat glistening like polished onyx. The two Wolves circled each other, their tails wagging in excitement, their eyes gleaming with a shared joy.

Each puzzle seemed to reveal a piece of the story, a story I was becoming a part of. The door slid open, and I stepped into a vast chamber. The walls were covered in even more elaborate murals, depicting the origins of the Moon Wolves. I could see images of the first wolves, their spirits bonded with the moon’s power, giving them strength, wisdom, and a deep connection to the night. The murals told of their battles, their triumphs, and their losses. I felt a deep sense of reverence as I walked through the chamber, absorbing the history that was unfolding before me.

I thought about meditating, but I didn’t want to close my eyes, and instead I wandered on to the rose garden, wondering where Chloe would put her new piece when it was finished. I had started my research on the Moon Wolves, but there was so little to go on. So much was shrouded in religious rituals and the “great mystery” of the race. The only things people really agreed on was their power and status, which for werewolves were the most important things, but still.

The witches on the fortress walls had their weapons ready and were prepared to use their magic as we fought to save our home and lives. I took a deep breath to calm myself so I could think clearly about the battle ahead. I could hear someone amongst the Mystics army speaking before they launched their attack. When they stopped speaking, I heard the sound of rogue wolves howling their battle cry. When rogues howl, it sounds like the wind crying through the trees. It's an eerie sound and makes most people shiver in fear.

Out of nowhere, she heard her father's voice in her mind, lecturing her on the difference between a rogue wolf and one associated with dark witches. "As you know, Selene, rogue wolves are not the only evil in the world. They are just as dangerous, but even more dangerous are the evil wolves associated with dark witches. Hybrid wolves that have the blood of dark witches are the descendants of evil wolves associated with dark witches who are cursed to walk this land while their already dead bodies rot and decay. They crave the flesh of corpses, though they abhor their existence. They almost never attack the living, but I've seen them. But when they do, their gaze can freeze a person for as lon

Miss you guys. Then I drop the phone again. My hands are shaking slightly. The silence of the large, unfamiliar room hums around me, a waiting silence. I break it first. “So, Isla… what are wolves actually like? Besides possessive and obsessed with titles.” She chuckles, a comforting, rolling sound in my mind. "Depends on the wolves, really. These ones? Traditional. Bound to cultures, customs, rituals, and strict hierarchy. Honestly, they cling to traditions more than any other supernatural creature I know. It's their method of staying grounded and hidden."
