Mythological Goddesses Names Novels & Stories

CHLOE I was sitting in the living room of my house, looking at the book Remus gave me. I wasn't sure I wanted to read it, but I needed answers. So I gathered all my courage and started reading. Thousands of years ago, the great Titan, Hyperion, married his sister, Theia. She gave birth to Helios, the Sun God, Eos, the Dawn Goddess, and Selene, the Moon Goddess. Selene was a beautiful deity, with silvery blonde hair that cascaded down to her feet, skin so white it seemed almost translucent, and eyes that shone like gold.

(Talented) Born to Zeus and Leto (*cough cough* not his wife). And has a twin sister, Artemis. Aphrodite : Greek Goddess of beauty, love and eternal youth. She is married to Hephaestus and is the mother of Eros better know as cupid. (you know the cute kid who carries a heart shaped bow and arrow. And then shoots it at random people and they fall in "love") Athena : Greek goddess of wisdom, war, courage, inspiration, crafts, warfare, skill, strength, strategy, MATHEMATICS (In other words. "don't mess with her.").

He said handing them to me. I collected them and looked up to Adrien. He gave me a reassuring nod and I opened one of the scrolls. The cursive letters of the title caught my eyes first. The Goddess Vessel: Awakening of the Veiled Flame "When the moon weeps in silver tears, Where silence echoes through the years, And five fangs causes her pain, A child shall rise, with fire in her veins, Her soul alight, with shadowed blade, She shall walk paths where many fear,

The child did not yet know she had been born into a betrayal. Seraphyne lowered her gaze, her face beautiful beyond the limits of mortal imagination. Hair like woven sunlight cascaded over robes intricately embroidered with shifting constellations, while a crown of living, pulsing radiance floated just above her brow. Throughout the countless territories under her vast dominion, temples had been erected in her honor, kings bled for her favor, and millions of faithful offered their desperate devotion each day. She was the High Goddess of Radiance, an undisputed victor of three consecutive Rankings, and one of the most terrifyingly powerful deities in Heaven.

"Any-way" continues, almost without taking any breaths. "At the time of the great flood shifters stayed in their animal form and survived the flood the destruction, but God decided he had to create beings that could help him make decisions on what to do with the world he had created and made Hera, the goddess of woman and child birth, Poseidon the god of sea and Athena goddess of war and wisdom.

Venus gasped in disbelief. "This is a scandalous affair indeed!" Venus cried. "Who would have expected it from a decent goddess like you! So now that the fine daughter of mine has a girlfriend, tell me her name. Who is it that has tempted my innocent child? Is it one of that crowd of Nymphae, or one of the Horae, the seasons? Or one of the bands of Muses, or my servants, the Graces? Tell me, daughter, who is she?" "Her name is Psyche," the youthful goddess reluctantly replied.

And that's when I remember something, a narrative or a legend I've heard for the longest time. The moon goddess has four warriors....Hera, Aurora, Zoe and Iris who serve her faithfully. Wherever she goes, they are there with her. They are strong, beautiful and smart. No one can ever get close to the moon goddess because of these warriors. However, time must come when they have to leave their mistress behind and descend in our world for they will protect our kind from all danger. No one knows who they are or when they will come, but we all must alert until they show up.

Somewhere she could clear her mind and focus. She stood with her legs spread. Thrusting her hands forward as if she was praying or offering supplication, she begins chanting the incantation the fates taught her. “From realms entwined, I call your names, Gaia, the earth goddess, Aether, the goddess of light and Hemera the goddess of day. Primordial power, awakened flame. Through the depths of self, my essence frees thee, unleash your powers, let them be”.

“Tell me about the gods and goddesses, Alaric.” “Well, there were twelve gods and goddesses, I killed three and you killed one, leaving them with eight. There is Ramiel, god of thunder, Haziah, god of Ice, Selene, goddess of Love, Azura, goddess of water, Hades, god of the underworld, Alinta, goddess of flame, Aron, god of Hate and Noel, god of Earth.”

Iris shook her head vigorously, and both laughed for a second, but again silence swarmed in the room like clouds. "You know, Theia," Iris gently kissed her daughter's temple, "they say it's not wise to name your daughter after the names of the gods. But I did it anyway, you know why?" Athena shook her head, indicating her curiosity. “Because Athena symbolizes love, intellect, and battle strategy,” she sighed deeply. “I always thought you were my little fighter. Maybe I shouldn’t have named you after her, and you wouldn’t have had these many struggles in your life.”
