Mythology Echidna Novels & Stories

"He got speared with some kind of existential anti-matter. Long story. Short version: he needs an 'Echo of Creation' found in a 'celestial graveyard' guarded by 'divine eaters.' Your cue to be useful." A moment of stunned silence from the phone. Then, Justin's voice, lower now, tinged with disbelief. "An Echo of Creation? That's… a myth. A whisper among the most ancient Archangels. They say it's not a thing, just a story for when the universe was young. And a celestial graveyard? You mean, the God-Eater's Maw?" Misha's head shot up. "You know of it?"

Natalia answered in surprise. "Scylla?" Elijah asked. Everyone knows that the titan in Mythion is quite a secret. But I didn't expect Elijah didn't know this. "We called it Scylla. It's a half-human half monster. It has the body of a gigantic female, but half her body below is made of tentacled snakes. Six huge snakes and her hair is made of hydra snakes. She's living in the deepest part of the sea, in the ring of oblivion." This explains it. Scylla, this can't be a Charybdis. Does that mean Charybdis is a place and not a titan?

Fuming with hatred, I pace back and forth while thinking of ways to destroy Mysteria. Finally, I come to a halt and smile as the answer comes to mind. Thypon, the God of ferocious monsters. He has the head of a dragon, a bat's wings and a serpent's body. Once a God amongst the other deities in the Celestial Realm, Thypon wreaked death and destruction across many worlds. To end Typhon’s terrible ways, the deities and I trapped him beneath a volcano for all eternity, compelling the volcano never to erupt since that was the only way Thypon could be released.

Aphelion asks, a look of confusion on his face. "It's more than just a sludge," Luka speaks up, his mental shield so intense I can feel it pushing against me, but still, my powers manage to find a way to wiggle in and caress his. "That black substance is called Eitr. It is neither dead nor alive. Eitr is the origin of life. Jörmungandr created dark Etir as a weapon to destroy the Norse Gods. Eitr, both light and dark, was supposed to have been destroyed with the destruction of Asgard. The substance that came from Beckett was a fledgling Eitr; when in its full form, it can shift into any dark beast; a basilisk, an Oshi-Oni, a chimera, a Kraken, even a Medusa type creature. Its shapeshifting i

Jayden whispers in shock. My head is pounding and I feel dizzy. Tara is Keturah, the moon goddess. The woman who has been helping me all this while is the moon goddess? I always knew she was different, but it never occurred to me. “Keturah, blessed goddess, mother of our kind, it's an honour to have you in our midst”, Kreed says, going one knee. Everybody in the room does the same including, Jayden. I keep sitting, trying my best to see through the tears that have clouded my vision.

'I bet there are thousands of mythological books' I thought, I looked around as much as I could while Hades carried me. ''You love books, don't you?'' He commented as he weaved his way through shelf after shelf of books, following Lachesis. ''No, just mythological books,'' I replied ''The underworld is the source of all mythological books and stories.'' Hades huffed. ''Are you not serious?'' I asked in disbelief. ''Do you know the myth of Cerberus?'' He asked. ''Of course. He's the Greek hellhound. It's one of the most famous myths'' I replied.

Drake says. “Does it say how you will change the world, bringing the broken factions together?” I ask. He frowns at me. “Did you read it?” “No, I didn’t have to. It’s what you’re doing.” After the first night, the tension goes away and over the next week, we meet GoldMoon, the Ceryneian Hind from Greek mythology, the techrechauns, the trolls, and finally, we got to meet Lucero, the unicorn.

Maybell Smith Mythicals- A rare bloodline that people inherit from God, Dalion, that he personally blessed with the ancient dragon spirit. It is given to those who have been close enough to touch the white veil. Although this information is well known, mythicals are still a mystery to the rest of civilization, if encountered, don’t stare into its gaze.

“What? When, brother?” Ghaeron forced himself to share the tale of his great shame, one that he had shared with no one since the early days of life on Edon. “Shortly after Mother and Father had brought forth the first life here on Edon, I became fascinated with the complex weaving of mystical forces that had been utilized to do so. Such variety of living creatures had come into being! Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Minotaurs, and a host of lesser known beings, all benign and given great potential for growth. Growth is one of the constants of the universe, as you know. It is ingrained into the essence of Dragons.”

I immediately rolled my eyes at him as I made my way to the couch and took a seat to rest my tired legs as I removed the beautiful white heels that I am supposed to be breaking in to make them more comfortable on my wedding day. “What did you even do to that damn b*tch for her to get me into this mess with you. Did she even know that you had the antidote to her venom? I know you must have pissed her off in some way ,I really wouldn’t put that past you” His eyes lingered on me for a few moments as silence filled the entire room. His mouth opened and closed again before he awkwardly scratched at the back of his neck . “Yeah Ummm…her name is Isabel. She is an Echidna, half woman, half serpent a
