I give 5 stars on all criteria! I love the story and I really felt like I'm watching an anime. If you are into fast progressing and an intriguing story - this is it! I don't know exactly what good words more to say, but this book got me so excited I want to read all of it in one breath!

Dragon Dhampir

Dragon Dhampir

Seraphina mused. “What are your familiars?” Seraphina asked. “I know Achilles is a snow leopard and of course no one can forget the Great Puma,” Seraphina said with a wink. “My familiar is a lioness” Ethena said. “And mine is a wolf,” Aurelia spoke up. “I am a Lynx,” answered Drusilla. “And I am a fox,” Antoinette proudly stated. “Can you guess what my familiar is?” asked Credence, visibly excited. “Well,” Seraphina pondered, “Aurelia mentioned yesterday that we went for a fly, so I am assuming maybe a Falcon?” Seraphina answered him. “Oooooh close sister but, my familiar is an eagle.” Credence answered, beaming at Seraphina. “It is strange isn’t it, I don’t think I ever would’ve guessed all

My Bride is Not a Human

My Bride is Not a Human

’, I thought and rolled my eyes. . “Fine.”, Dada finally agreed after a lot of persuasion from me. . . Once I reached the library, I started looking for the book having details of all kinds of creatures in the world. And thankfully, my research ended after half an hour. This is a magical book that gets updated automatically along with time, just as Wikipedia in g****e terms. I quickly read all the pages of those creatures about whom I already knew like Nephilim, Demon, Angels, Werewolves, Shapeshifters, Dragons, and Vampires.

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

Except for the low whine of the Anomaly, everything and everyone has fallen silent. The wait seems interminable, but in reality is probably no more than ten or fifteen seconds. A tall form explodes out of the blackness, almost as if shoved forward by the forces inside the portal. The thing halts for a split second. It’s human in shape, at least eight feet tall, and unmistakably female. Her slender, full-breasted body is covered in dark green scales. What catches my attention most, though, are the dozens of slimy green snakes writhing from her head, hissing loudly as their tongues flick in and out of gaping mouths. I recognize this dangerous creature from mythology books—it’s a medusa.

REALM OF THE MYSTICS

REALM OF THE MYSTICS

Philip put down his food and the kids all looked at him and paid attention, “some of the scrolls I found talked about the magic of the realm, the people and the creatures that roam the land,” “What kind of creatures?” Kurt asked. “Magnificent beasts of all shapes and sizes living on the land, in the water, and in the sky. These creatures aren’t like the animals here on Earth. They’re smarter and a lot more special because they all have a mystic ability unlike any animal you know of. The most magnificent of all the creatures in Randos are the Krans,” “What are Krans?” Lydia asked.

RAVEN: The Supernatural Creature

RAVEN: The Supernatural Creature

Even with such tempting beauty, folks will still feel the hidden danger. Danger – with the sweetness that just about makes one want to be bitten. The beauty within the night, with the strength and power to leap from building to building, and therefore the fangs. supported this world's legends, it's the reality of her body. that's – an evil spirit. With leap skills approach higher than humans, folks continuously thought they'd bat-like wings. whereas discussing vampire legends, it is virtually sure it is this sort of blood-drinking animal. perhaps as a result of cracked will nothing across the night sort of a shadow, so people imagine these quiet things.

Claimed by the Devil Alpha

Claimed by the Devil Alpha

"It's a mythical creature with large wings, a body of a lion, and the hooves of a horse. It's said to be the most powerful creature in existence, but no one has ever seen it." Ube spoke up, his voice low and serious. "The creature does exist, wolf and It lives on the highest mountain in this realm, far away from civilization. If you truly want to make a portal to the ordinal realm, you'll have to find a way to get the core of Griffith." Luis crossed his arms, his expression stubborn. "I still don't believe it. It's just a legend." Ube sighed in frustration and grabbed a thick, leather-bound book from a nearby shelf. He threw it at Luis, who caught it with a scowl.

The Reaper's Pet

The Reaper's Pet

A bear of a dog is licking my face – or rather, the blood dripping out of the open wounds in my face – while something close is making a hissing sound like a pit of snakes. I drag my ass through the muddy bank and scream. Another dog turns to snarl at me and then a third, till my brain registers that all three heads are attached to the same giant, thickly-muscled neck. {Kerberos}. Greek mythology from high school floods over me and I whimper. {The Hellhound. Sibling to the monsters Chimaera and Hydra}.

The Slaved Virgin Offering

The Slaved Virgin Offering

One cliff rose up into a rocky spire before them and where the grey stone met emerald grass, a black opening rose up into view. Caliope was seized with sudden fear and stopped short instinctively. She wasn't the only one. The guards let them stare a moment before prodding them forward like skittish ewes. The cavern loomed overhead, as high at least as five tall men. She had heard that the creature was a giant. Some said he was a titan who escaped Zeus's fury, others that he was a Cyclops. One even said he was a great serpent like the one Perseus slew.

Welcome to Aetherborn: Crushes, Curses & Creatures

They didn’t sound spoken, they felt remembered. “Aetherborn was the world of all magical creatures, the way Earth belongs to mankind. Its lands thrummed with living energy, its oceans glittered with molten light. The skies were home to dragons, and the seas whispered with spirits older than the moon. Here, every being, witch, fae, vampire, dragon, beast, or djinn was born of the same essence: Aether.” The scenery bloomed around her as the voice spoke.

Frequently Asked Questions

Mythopedia is like a treasure trove for anyone obsessed with the fantastical creatures from legends worldwide. I lose hours just flipping through entries—it’s got everything from the fire-breathing 'Zmey Gorynych' of Slavic folklore to the shape-shifting 'Kitsune' from Japanese tales. One of my favorites is the 'Chupacabra,' a vampiric beast said to drain livestock dry in Latin America. The way Mythopedia breaks down each creature’s origins, variations across cultures, and even modern pop-culture appearances is just chef’s kiss.

Then there’s the 'Jörmungandr,' the Norse world-serpent so massive it encircles Midgard. Reading about how different cultures interpret similar beasts—like dragon-like entities in Europe versus Asia—is mind-blowing. It’s not just a list; it’s a gateway to understanding how myths evolve. I always end up down rabbit holes comparing, say, the Greek 'Phoenix' to its Egyptian counterpart, the 'Bennu.'
