The pain I had felt was still there, and the worry that gnawed inside of me was keeping me on edge. Liam’s aura surged around him, as he strode towards the barrier. Similar to Kiara’s purple one, his was blue, like flames reaching high into the sky. His magnetic blue eyes looked almost shimmery. The moment he barrelled into the wall, Raihana whispered a spell, a dazzling bolt of fire heading straight above Liam’s head and hitting the shield. The impact of both forces made the barrier flash and tremble. I glared at her for disobeying me. Did these fucking women not know how to obey orders?

Waist-high and glowing faintly, she looked like something out of a myth. Not another one.” But before I could take a step forward, Blue’s body flared with a soft blue aura, her power rippling outward in a pulse that cut through the fog, the mist hissed, twisting and then dissolving completely, leaving behind a stretch of empty ground.

Oh, how he yearned to see that scarlet face of hers and bury himself in her silver locks. The hairs on Seraph's neck pricked up as he sensed someone watching him. He looked throughout the crowd and locked with the emerald green eyes of Maxim. The other black-haired male was glaring at Seraph's intimate grip on Esper. A low growl rippled through his chest, reverberating against Esper's back. The vibrations surprised the young woman. She looked up at Seraph, but he kept his gaze out into the crowd, unmoving.

Lockdown complete. With a scream, Aura rips out of me and charges forward. “Aura, look out!” I shout, and she turns and rips into a rogue and tears it to shreds. “Babe, leave this to me.
