Nana Malone Books Novels & Stories

"You'd better stop this, or I'll fire you and kick you out of my house!" That answered everyone's questions. Whispers started to spread. "Ah, no wonder they share a home. Her mother's his nanny." "She seems decent enough, but she's a gold digger. I can't believe she's claiming Mr. Solomon committed bigamy." "You know women like her. They can do anything for status. Natasha met her gaze, searching for any hint that the old woman knew more than she let on. "Is there something you're not telling me?" Natasha asked carefully. Nana hesitated, biting her lower lip. Then, with a weary sigh, she sat at the edge of the bed. "I heard a story. There was a girl," Nana whispered, voice trembling. "A sweet little thing. Looked just like you when you were a baby. Born into chaos, though. Lies. Betrayals. Money exchanged hands where it shouldn't have."
