Destined for the Alpha King

Destined for the Alpha King

After a few minutes of pondering on what Nana said, I stood up and walked to my bedroom. My short legs led me to the little bookshelf in the corner of my room and I wasn't alarmed when the next book I picked was a book about Lycans. ~ "Your smoothies always taste so good, Akira." Eve moaned, taking another sip of the cup of smoothies. Nancy and Josh both nodded in agreement. "Buuuuuuut, her Nana's cookies are the best! Can I get that?" Josh countered, his green eyes fluttering cutely.

Persistence

Persistence

Chapter 21 Friday Evening. Mary and Malisa were both in Malisa's room. While Malisa was resting on the headboard reading a novel titled, Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. Mary on the other hand was lying lazily on the bed talking nonstop. " Oh my, Sis! I can't wait for tomorrow to arrive! " " I can't wait to go shopping! " " It's gonna be soooo fun! " She continued rambling. " Oh, how sure are you that it's gonna be fun? Have you gone on one before? " Malisa questioned her.

Mated To The Alpha's Quadruplets

Mated To The Alpha's Quadruplets

I stopped talking and remembered that there is a journey book everyone has with them–Hunter as well as his brothers. "There is the journey book…you…remember…the journey book right? Do you know where it is?" Nolly asked while I sprinted out of the room. "Going somewhere?" Malia stopped me. "Fuck! What to do…mmm…damn!" Nolly screamed. "Nothing. I just want to get some air. Do you have a problem with that?" I calmed myself and stared into her eyes. Malia walked around me majestically and shot me a rude look. "I don't know what you are up to but I would like to tell you that you should not try anything funny because your children are at stake as well as your mate."

The Billionaire's Nanny

The Billionaire's Nanny

★NINA★ The silence that followed Malachi’s demand was heavy, thick with the scent of his expensive cologne and the lingering, sharp smell of the vinegar that had soaked into my dress. I couldn't tell him. Not all of it. How could I explain that a simple black car could turn me back into a terrified thirteen-year-old girl hiding in a closet while her world ended?

The Nerd Can Fight

The Nerd Can Fight

It made me feel more at ease to know that Nana wasn’t all alone, living on a land that’s practically isolated from society. George was the youngest and he was a couple of years younger than me. He had dirty blonde hair that reached his earlobes the last time that I saw him and all the other kids were tanned from working under the sun so much. I laughed, “Alright Nan. I need to step out for a minute and make a few calls, I’ll drop by the room to unpack and wash up for dinner right after.” She nodded mindlessly, already picking up her book from her lap; seems like the passion to read runs in the family.

Pearl of his Heart

Pearl of his Heart

Only one thing would give her some peace in that house. She rolled around and took out a book from underneath her pillow. It was her favorite book, ‘The Adventures of the Mermaid’. Her dad had gifted her this book last year and since then, Alina became obsessed with the lore of mermaids. The book followed the story of a mermaid who was travelling all the seas in search of her pearl. On the way, she made many friends and even defeated monsters to achieve her goal. The mermaid in the book was named Alya and she became Alina’s heroine.

This books needs to be on top. As expected of teatae, she never disappoints with her suspense and mystery along with the romance which feels so real. Although it's more of a romance but its all worth it. I don't feel regret buying coins to read this gem. Why the review limit is so short though? 😭😭

Will Bear the Moon

Will Bear the Moon

“Maybe not as much as Ana, but- No, that’s not the point-” How were they already getting sidetracked? “Hidi, tell me about Ana-” Nicoli tried again before Hidi leaned in. “All these books are about bears.” Hidi opened one to see the illustrations. “Do you like bears?” “I do.” Nicoli went but shook his head. “But that’s not what I want to talk about. Tell me about Ana-” “I could get you one.” “That, ” Nicoli blanked at the idea. “Seriously?”

Claimed by the billionaire

Claimed by the billionaire

Elizabeth POV “You read these books all the time, like things like that actually happen in real life,” Nana said, side-eyeing me as I leaned back against the counter, my butt slightly raised, my hands bracing the edge, and a book in one hand. She moved around the kitchen, stuffing groceries into the freezer and rearranging things. “They do happen, Nana. Just because I’m not living it doesn’t mean I can’t read about it,” I said, flipping a page. “I love reading.”

I dug through catalogs and author lists because your question piqued my curiosity, and I couldn't find any records of an author publishing under the exact name 'Tana Scrabble.' That's the short version up front — there just don't seem to be books credited to that precise name in the usual places (library catalogs, publisher pages, and major bookseller listings). That said, it's easy for names to get slightly garbled in casual conversation or searches, and the name that most often comes up when people mix up 'Tana' with a last name is 'Tana French,' who has been very active and has a couple of recent, buzzworthy titles you might be thinking of.

If you meant Tana French, the recent works that have gotten the most attention are 'The Witch Elm' (2018) and 'The Searcher' (2020). 'The Witch Elm' is a chilling, introspective standalone that plays with identity and memory — it’s darker and more claustrophobic than some of her Dublin Murder Squad books, and it stuck with me because of how it slowly twists the reader’s sympathy and trust. 'The Searcher' moved toward an almost cozy mystery exterior at first — an ex-cop in a small Irish village — but it unfolds into a moody, character-driven investigation that leans into atmosphere and moral ambiguity rather than pure procedural mechanics. Before those, of course, she wrote several celebrated novels in the Dublin Murder Squad series: 'In the Woods,' 'The Likeness,' 'Faithful Place,' 'Broken Harbor,' and 'The Secret Place' — each with a distinct narrator and tone, which is part of what makes her body of work so addictive.

If you really were asking about someone who actually goes by 'Tana Scrabble' and not a typo, it's possible they’re a less widely published indie author, a self-publisher, or a writer active under a different pen name. Those can be harder to track down in big databases; sometimes the best places to find indie or emerging authors are smaller presses, local bookstore listings, social media author pages, or niche online communities. Since I couldn’t find mainstream listings for 'Tana Scrabble,' my best practical suggestion is to cross-check the name against book retailer searches or library catalogs, but I also want to highlight that if you did mean Tana French, her most recent standalones — 'The Witch Elm' and 'The Searcher' — are fantastic entry points and showcase her move toward more psychologically tense, character-first mysteries.

Personally, whether you were hunting for a lesser-known writer or hoping for a quick rec, those French books have been some of my favorite recent reads for atmosphere and moral gray areas. They’re the kind of novels I keep recommending to friends who like crime that’s more about people than plot tricks, and they still linger with me after I finish them.
