Narnia Cair Paravel Novels & Stories

Elara cried as the roof above them began to peel away, torn off by the vacuum of the descending host. "You don't have to be an Arbiter," Vane said, landing in the attic beside her, his suit scorched and his breathing heavy. Malphas followed, his red eyes dimmed by exhaustion. "You just have to be the Paradox. Give them the one thing they can't control." The ceiling vanished completely. Standing in the air above them was Cassiel. He was no longer the polite man in the white suit. He was a giant of blinding radiance, six wings of fire spreading across the horizon.

Ruby P.O.V. It isn’t dramatic. The circle doesn’t bark, it breathes in, and then it doesn’t breathe out. The air between warlocks thickens like glass cooling, and the space Celine was enjoying gets narrower. She tries to step sideways into a shadow, but Tara taps the stone with her socked toe and every shade in the meadow turns out its empty pockets. “No hiding,” the child says, as serious as bedtime. Celine’s pretty face cracks.

This surprise wove their story further into the mysterious light of the Luminous Paradox. Aria followed, her sharp eyes guiding her steps with precision. Kael, drawing upon his arcane abilities, created shimmering bridges of energy to stabilize the stones for his companions. Valen, with his scholarly knowledge, provided guidance and encouragement throughout the treacherous journey.

Alora let out a deep sigh. "It's been quite a day, huh? I think this is enough for me for a lifetime. Thank you very much. Narnia was way PG, a fighting squirrel was cute. There's nothing cute about any of these bad boys coming at you. I cannot count how many times my life flashed right before my eyes," she said, gesturing. Evanore gave her a side glance. I did the same and we all burst out laughing. "I must see this Narnia," Evanore said.

It was as if he was in the middle of taking a bath and was forced to be here. “Where’s my cereal?” A familiar-looking angel with pink-colored hair exclaimed with frustration. In her right hand, a spoon was being held tightly. So Ariel is here. The Nether World will shudder when Ariel will know that Apollo Sky and I are on the same team. Cent continued to wander her raven-colored orbs on her surroundings. “I am sure as fudge that I am in the library!” A fairy with circular eyeglasses flailed midair after seeing her precious book in tatters.

Zarah aggravatedly asked, “Don’t they have binoculars? You guys have better visions and can’t recognize threats over friendlies?” “What are you saying, Zarah?” Kailin crossed her arms over her chest impatiently. “I have a positive feeling about this. We should go.” We hadn’t gotten what she meant when a portal was ready before us. “Where are we going?” I held Zarah’s arm. “That’s Nirvana. She couldn’t get in the vineyards.” “How can you be so sure?” Kailin asked, half-excited and half-amazed. “We can talk here all day and waste time or enter the portal.”

Ethan’s smile dropped and he slammed his eyes shut. I frowned, filled with impatience, as I watched his lips move rapidly. “She is still alive,” he said with his eyes still closed. “I know. She is missing,” I snapped a reply. “The mountain of ravens in the middle of the dangerous waters of Ardelene in the land of the elves.” My brows snapped up and my mother gasped in disbelief. “The elves?” she whispered, slapping her lips with her palm. “For once, you have helped me,” I muttered and Ethan opened his eyes, staring into my dark eyes with a flicker of mischief sweeping against his face.

Lily asks when we arrive. “It was great!” I say, as Cayd and I put our children down and let them run. One of the best things about Araphyra is that we don’t have to worry about our pups and dragons. There is no kidnapping here and everyone looks after everyone. When Theia went into the forest to find the Cerynian Hind, Tarian, GoldMoon’s daughter, brought her back to us. And of course, no one can get lost with the incredible number of fae that live in Araphyra.

She shut her eyes and willed for the picture to bloom beneath her lids but all she saw was red— the sun’s rays cast “You should be heading back in now, them mistress and chilren be returning soon.” “Can I wait?” “She aint gon’ like it. You know that.” “I know.” “Yet you keep askin’ the obvious.” Parisa glanced down at the entrance and marble steps. “I’m sorry,” her words a whisper far too delicate to be heard yet Yarrow’s lupine ear inclined to her patiently. The creature briefly met those ancient eyes and skittered away, “if I offended you somehow today… about the… the defect comment.”

Finn Rowena had said Everest would need to sleep through the night. As impressive as the gifts were, they certainly put a strain on her energy levels. I had carried her to one of the empty rooms and held her through the night. The aura that had radiated from her had been pure power. As the spell had broken, a rumbling of electricity had cracked across the sky. Rowena had cackled, and had said “Helios knows…” I couldn’t say I’d ever met another person who took so much delight in challenging the ancient Gods…
