If the Order succeeded, if they truly succeeded in changing what it meant to be a wolf — there’d be nothing stopping them. Not a rebellion that would be strong enough to oppose them.

They secured them around each woman’s waist and then stepped back. “Welcome, Sorceresses, to the Order of the Na’Himara.” It was Nayara who spoke, and the three looked up in surprise. The Dragon leaned her head lower, her sapphire-blue eyes shining. “The Guardians charge you with the mystical defense of Edon. You are now part of an ancient and powerful Order. Use your gifts wisely.” She then lifted her head high and let out a loud draconic roar. The gathered women all flinched, some of them crying out in surprise, except for the Maajira and a few of the Council.

Chapter V Sweet Dreams "The absence of descendants will cause war and extinction of our race. If not, then we will be slaves," Deumitri, the head minister, uttered. The other ministers agreed, Felix also. Earlier, Felix walked away to go to the ministry called New Order. New Order is a ministry consisting of 12 ministers representing the 12 titan gods. Ministers often discuss descendants and Atolonʼs next steps to maintain the peace and unity of the children of the island.

“And then, a few days ago, it all just… stopped. The world sighed, and everything settled. I knew it was you.” He looked at Kael, who was watching him with those ancient, calm eyes. “The Anchor,” Finn whispered. “You bound the world.” Kael just nodded. “The Order is gone,” Finn continued, his voice heavy. “Scattered. Most were lost to the chaos. I am… all that is left, I think.” He looked at Liora, his expression earnest. “Let me stay. Let me help you. Let me record this. The story of how the world was saved. It must not be forgotten.”

“But the baby… protected me.” Mira nodded slowly. “That’s what everyone is saying.” Aira hesitated before asking the question that had been haunting her. “Is that normal?” Mira didn’t answer immediately. Instead, she leaned against the table and crossed her arms. “For normal wolves?” She shook her head. “Absolutely not.” Aira sighed. “I figured.” Back outside, Rowan crouched near the glowing symbol. “So what happens now?” Theron spoke quietly. “The Order will return.” Marcus looked toward the dark forest beyond the valley.
