"Who are you talking about? Akira?" The rogue nodded erratically. "Yes! She fucking murdered Lion and the others," He shook his head as if the memory still haunted him. "It all happened so fast, next thing the vines and shit were squeezing the life out of Sam and she was casting out spells like I was in a damn Harry Potter story." Huh? Spells? The little human was getting a lot more tougher to handle. Before I could voice my response, the rogue ran off, looking back as if he was scared we were going to call him back.

Yet since yesterday I have followed his instructions, making sure to follow them the way he said I should, still nothing has changed I'm now almost having visions of being a rogue as the rogues blood was making me hallucinate. The rogue, mafia, was top on my most wanted lists for rogues I wanted tortured for the killings and kidnaps of pups in my Pack and some other Pack but he resisted and put up a good fight when I and my men tried capturing him to the Organization where I would torture him severely and question his involvement with some of Seiko's allies.

Hunt untied the rope from around my hands and once they were free, I rubbed the red rings around my wrists. "So can I leave?" I stood up and as I tried to move around him to get to the door, he caught my wrist and pulled me back. "I can't let you leave." "Why not?" My voice was laced with annoyance. "I did not do anything wrong." "Unfortunately I make a lot of decisions but my pack won't like knowing that we have a rogue on our hands and I'm about to let her loose, especially with all the attacks going around. For all we know," Hunt stepped closer. "You could be the wild rogue just trying to talk yourself out of a sticky situation."

Over the next four days, they got to six more of Rogue's men. The men seemed like completely different people once Rogue's brand was replaced. They described it as not being in control of their own body. They could see everything they were doing, but it was like their brain wasn't there's. Their brain was wired to serve Rogue and protect him, but now, their minds were free, and they were indebted to Greyson.

“Your mother is the reason our pack got ambushed. And you're going to pay for it!” Nyra shuddered at his voice. They looked terrifying. “I didn’t do anything,” she snapped, almost instantly. “Of course you did. We don’t care how little you are. You’re going to be banned. From now on, you’re a rogue. A damn rogue. We won’t recognize you!” the last one barked. Nyra broke into another round of tears, not even knowing what a rogue was. “Let’s take her away,” one of them said.

I wondered if my pack even realized I was gone. I felt bad for the girl since I knew that she would be turning rogue pretty soon and probably even rabid soon after that since it was clear there would be no pack there to protect her and make her part of their family. I wondered if Nathaniel had taken that fact into account in his calculations, but then remembered he was planning on making her a hybrid! A hybrid rogue! How the hell was he going to keep her under control?!

He starts shifting, when another Rogue grabs a leg and tears it from his body in one quick motion. “STOP!” “We kill him.” “I need to know where my uncle is first. I promised my father.” “I can show you.” The female Rogue’s voice is in my head, “But you will need to shift.” Knox was still screaming on the ground. “Shut him up.” A Rogue slams their fist into Knox’s mouth, making his head bounce on the tarmac. Deep red pooled under his head, he wasn’t dead, but at least he was quiet. The female Rogue touches me and causes some sort of shock, she pulls her hand away as quickly as I do.

My breath came in ragged, animal bursts. It was happening. The shift. My first shift. Climbing through me like a tidal wave. “No,” I gasped, clutching at my chest. “Not-not yet. Not-” But the moon rose through me anyway. My vision sharpened to silver. My muscles trembled. My fingers bent backward in a way fingers shouldn’t. The rogue stared at me with dawning horror. Because he realized it too. - I wasn’t prey anymore. I was becoming something else.

So, that's exactly what I'm going to do. "Because?" He pressed, sounding impatient. I sighed again, feeling my heart grow heavy with the words I am about to say. "Because I was afraid he would take me back by force. Back to Alpha Hunter, my ex-mate." I revealed. He stiffened and scooted closer to me in his seat, so I continued.
