Then he looks up at me, his eyes reading a completely different emotion than five seconds ago. I smile, waiting for him to give me a command. It isn’t until he goes back to the drawer, also picking out the ropes, that he finally speaks.

He remembered. Draco set me gently on my feet. Then, with a practiced flick, my dress slipped around me, pooling like liquid at my ankles. I flushed scarlet, instinctively moving to shield myself, but his gaze stopped me. “You look captivating, little nymph,” he murmured, eyes burning into me. Before I could answer, something delicate brushed my neck.
