Sylvester’s POV. I stared at my laptop screen, but I wasn’t reading anything. My eyes were fixed, but my mind was moving too fast to focus. I had lost count of how many hours I had sat in the same chair. The house was quiet. Natasha was still asleep in our room, and I didn’t want to wake her. She had an early shift coming up, and soon, she would be gone for a few days on that medical field trip. The thought of her being away when everything around me felt like it was falling apart filled my chest with unease. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was coming. Something big. She watched the man trudge back to his seat. “What can I do for you, Miss?” asked Dr. Elena, in her ever intimidating and commanding voice, but this time with a note of distaste. Natasha spun her head to find the heavy-set woman, standing right in front of her, and dwarfing her. Natasha opened her mouth, but closed it, as she found her mind blank. She realized in anger how intimidated she felt in the dominating presence of this large woman. Dr. Elena's face relaxed, and she smiled. Her smile looked cunning, Natasha mused. To Natasha, it seemed Elena knew the effect, and power she had over her, through intimidation by her size, and the power she had acquired over the years.

Natasha headed over to them as she sat gently on the chair. “Good afternoon sir and ma”. Natasha said staring more confidently at Mrs Rasemela. “And who are you?”. Brenda asked now dropping the fork on the plate Natasha stared at her boldly,she could see the resemblance between them. “Am Natasha Smith, Parker's daughter and your daughter”. The lock on the cabinet had been broken recently. She pulled the file open, and papers spilled out.

I followed the geographics of the writing and realize that the Cresent Moon Pack couldn't be further than a few days away from us if traveling by wolf. That made the idea of an attack now hard to believe.
