Dear Ex-husband, I Don't Love You Anymore
Jaylen’s breath hitched.
The first photo showed two boys, maybe ten years old, sitting side by side on a bench somewhere cold. Both had cotton candy in their hands. Both were laughing. One was unmistakably Jaylen. The other had the same jawline, the same sharp eyes, but his hair was pale, almost white-blond.
In the second picture he was seated in a five star restaurant with two couples who looked too much like spies.
In the next picture, the blond boy was older, around sixteen, wearing a school uniform in what looked like Moscow. Then twenty, in a military uniform, rifle raised, eyes narrowed as if mid-shot. The cold precision in his gaze was chilling.
